OK what your prediction...

I'm going to say they are involved in trading down for more picks.

the 2 bozos in charge should follow the advice of the FO guys that have a clue - there are a lot of very good players that we could pick at #17 and we have 9 picks after that - adding 10 good players would be a great start - coach em up and let's see what happens

we really do not need to trade up - just draft as many good players as we can and go from there

if we don't have a good enough scouting department, then we don't have much of a chance of improving, no matter who we pick

the draft is such a lot of hoopla - this is the NFL hype at it's best
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Just so hard to guess at #17 without knowing who is likely to be on the board then. I'm going to say the pick is DALVIN COOK.

Agree with HEROHAMO on that one. As much as the defense needs help, I think we're in an offense arms race in the NFC east, and we won't pass on elite talent on either side of the ball.

My top five players I'd like to see drop to us unexpectedly:
1. LEONARD FOURNETTE
2. REUBEN FOSTER
3. MALIK HOOKER
4. HAASON REDDICK
5. OJ HOWARD

I'd love any of those 6 and I will add Ryan Anderson from Alabama - guy's a player and he will become a leader of the defense

He might need work holding onto the football, though. 8-[

I wonder if Matt Jones fumblitis might scare them away from Cook.

I've seen today that both the Falcons (31) and Broncos (20) are interested in trading up. Could be a late night for you if we swap with Atlanta!

TE O.J. Howard

6'5", 245

Strengths:
Fast
Rare speed
Supreme receiving tight end
Mismatch nightmare
Impressive yards-after-the-catch skills for a tight end
Extremely athletic
Generally sure-handed
Quick release off the line
Superb body control
Great catch radius
Leaping ability
Good route-running
Improved blocker
Phenomenal middle-seam tight end
Too fast for linebackers
Too big for safeties
Red-zone weapon
Three-down mismatch tight end
Very versatile
Athletic enough to play h-back
Upside
Uses size to make receptions downfield
Adept at finding the soft spot in zone
Works the middle seam well
Tracks the ball well
Quality run blocker
Decent feet in pass protection
Can sustain his blocks
Hits blocks on the second level
10-15 year starter if he stays healthy
Experienced
Effective against good competition
Strong
Deceptive quickness, athleticism
Quality hands
Durable
Ready to play immediately

Somebody like Pittsburgh will get him and look like geniuses.

I think Howard will be gone by 17.

But if it's truly BPA this year's TE prospects are probably the best ever.
You could make an argument that David Njoku and even Evan Ingram are better than most defensive players not top 7.

No doubt Howard could be considered the best player overall.
He's bigger, taller and faster then Myles Garrett.
Evan Ingram is faster than most receivers with a 4.4 forty yard dash.

Holy crap, Chicago. You got raped in that trade.

Multiple reports Cleveland is trying to trade for Kirk Cousins. This is not a joke.

In fact, one report says Skins trade up to 12 to get Watson. That comes from @Rosenbergradio

#Redskins have had at five teams call about trading QB Kirk Cousins this offseason. Every call has been a quick "No."
