Hognostications 2016

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Heck, I can change YOUR picks if I want.

Look, I have forgotten to pick on Thursday, thought I had a win (New England over Houston), went in on Saturday to make my other picks, then posted about it on THN. That went down as a loss for me. I have NEVER changed a pick after the fact except to fix an accidental pick-against-the-Redskins. If I had I'm sure someone would've noticed. I also would not be able to sleep and would lose all credibility.

You may recall this happened twice last year. I fixed my pick and I did it for someone else who had everyone jumping down his throat.

Just so everyone knows - Michael emailed me and asked me to change his ATL pick to WAS.

=D>

He assured me it was a mistake.

#-o

Note he still won the week and leads the overall standings by 1 over me and SJ.

Wasn't really trying to call you out bro just wanted to make sure you were aware.

I can go in and change that one pick and you will still be in the lead,

Do I have your permission?

Yes. Change it. We live and die with the Skins for better or for worse.

no worries here - I was just busting your balls like you and a couple of other guys here like to do with me whenever you can

I figured you had done it by mistake - it's all good

good luck - we're all trying to get by you

btw - I still maintain I never picked the Jaguars to beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead that week ...

Yes. I'd say it worked out perfectly well seeing as how it's taking one for the team. Not sure why it should be an issue to take another loss.

Now, if the Skins had won when I picked against them then I would have eaten the loss anyway because it would have been only fair.

Not really sure what the issue is here.

Darth, you did it again #-o

And it's fixed now.

Even though I picked TB, I WANT SD to win (if TB wins and we...don't, they'll jump was for the second wild card spot).

And they jumped us :(

I threw away at least 2 Thursdays.

I keep getting 11 and losing ground. Very tight now.

PS - The leading "expert" on ESPN has 122. He did not miss any Thursdays like several of us did and he can pick the Redskin games any way he likes. The best on CBS has 116.

I can affirm that CBS pickem is hot garbage for mobile users, and has forked me every year on multiple occasions. Had to just hang it up this year after being frustrated that it said my picks saved when it did not.

FWIW - Dave Richard on CBS picks is at 125 before last night and everyone but Pete Prisco is picking the Redskins to win

Thanks for the correction. The 116 total was a week earlier. The 2nd place CBS "expert" has 117 after Thursday night.

I'm as surprised as anyone else by my being tied for the lead this late in the season.

(10 years or so ago, when RedskinsInCanada first started this competition -- and I was a more active poster, it would have made for some fun threads!)

Congrats to all who have remembered to make picks this season. Should I win, I will hold this title near and dear to my heart.

You were bold to pick the 49ers and they were bold to go for 2 at the end.

This week will be tough. Good luck, bro.

Same. Comes down to one game in week 17 every freakin' time. Losing at this point bites. Sure wish I had the 2 game cushion I woulda had over you with an LA win last week.

Unreal what it came down to.

CAR goes for 2 and fails = 2 game swing.

CLE fumbles when kneeling for a FG wins. Lose in OT = 2 game swing.

JAG blows big lead = 2 game swing.

etc.
