It took Baker to jump in Barry's ass to wake him up. So no I don't think I was as off as you claim. Barry is a joke and we can also thank McAdoo and his conservative calls. He should have been been putting the ball down the field, Sterling and Cruz were seriously under used. This game is a perfect example of being lucky, cause we are far from good.
I hate to break it to you, but in the NFL throwing for 350 yards is pretty common. If you think Eli surgically removed our D's balls yesterday, you are beyond help. Might as well admit you a homer on the Giants bandwagon.
It just seems to me that you are just a Redskin Homer that isn't able to see the proverbial forest for the tree's when it comes to the Redskins. The fact is the ranking and statistics tell you all you need to know about Joe Barry as if his 0-16 record as a DC in Detroit isn't more than enough of a reason to fire this dude. Yes you are right about NFL QB's throwing for 350 being common but what you fail to see or comprehend in most cases QB's throwing for 350 are yards made in garbage time when the score is out of reach. Eli did surgically cut some balls which is why Chris Baker cussed Barry out. The fact is perhaps Quinton Dunbar, Will Blackmon played better than Hall and Breeland also might have something to do with it. However if Eli didn't throw them picks we are 0-3 and most of us are screaming for Barry's head. Although you would most likely find some stupid reason as to why all is coming up smelling like roses.......![]()

This is the first and only post I have ever agreed with by this poster (at least agreeing with portions of it --- contrary to disagreeing with literally everything this dude writes).
I don't think 350 yards is "common" as only 4 QBs did it last week ---- all of whom lost their respective games.
I disagree that what Barry did in DET shows he needs to be fired. Typically you are fired based on your performance for YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER. Barry has not done a good job this year, but firing him in week 4 would just be the same old crap that Snyder and his "yes men" did a couple years ago..... not good.
And the fact Baker cussed out Barry only shows that Baker has an issue ---- not Barry. If I were Gruden and one of my players was disrespectful to a member of my staff --- they'd be gone at worst and benched for a game or two at best. And it's not like Baker is a great or even above average player --- he's one of the guys I'd cut at the end of the year as his unit is the one underperforming....
I also agree that Blackmon and Dunbar played better than DHall and Breeland, respectively. I also agree that Blackmon (who received the highest DEF player rating per ProFootball Focus) is better than DHall in general. Not sure about Breeland and Dunbar --- remember Dunbar was the one that made that special teams error/fumble. But Dunbar proved he needs more PT.
I also agree that had we not had those 3 TOs, we'd be complaining about the DEF more instead of saying they "steeped up" (which I don't consider a 27 point output as "stepping up"). However, you have to give credit where it is due in that they turned the ball over 3 times, which is nice considering they only have turned the ball over 1 time in the past 2 games.
And if we were 0-3, there would be more anti-Cousins talk also; even though he played a fantastic game.
