It's NY Giants week

Post by SkinsJock »

finally .... we get to see round 1 of the Norman/Beckham matchup for 2016

we also get to see Cousins decide it's time to light it up again ... Captain Kirk had 2 300 yard games last year against the giants

C'mon guys - this is a great opportunity to shut up all the chatter by the fans and those mutinous Redskins offensive players
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

A Joe Barry led defense going against Beckham, Cruz and that rookie WR that is putting up great numbers. I can also see Donnell lighting us up again. I see 3 picks and a fumble coming out of Cousins. We might rush 8 times cause Sean and Jay are arrogant assclowns that still want to prove that their number 1 pick is the offensive rookie of the year. Sorry we are playing in New York too. Eli is going to surgically cut our balls off....

I'm, no, the gnats are NOT that good.. scored less vs the same dullass weak D then we did... then barely put a dent into the putrid NO D.

Their D will be a good test but we can stiffle Sheli and Co... however, we desperately need Kirk to perform at his best.

Even if we go 0-15, I'll still be rooting on my squad to get the W week 17. Never understood skins fans that give up.... that's an oxymoron! As skins fans we are used to this isht! Buck up!!

Now let's go make a statement!!!

I don't know man. I just remember the glory years and being let out of high school to go to DC for the SB Parade. This 20 odd year of incompetence get's tiring year after year. Why is it so hard for a Billionaire to turn the team over to qualified people? This is the Nationals Capital and I am tired of Snyder and his remedial ownership and continuing to be a damn laughing stock of the NFL. I have no more patience to blindly root and see this team with it's pathetic coordinators and head coaches with the weekly coach em up crap. Someone needs to coach ownership and the coaching staff up! I am just a realist. If it looks and smells like crap, I have come to learn it's crap.

I don't know. I look forward to football season all year. The level of crazy talk posted here at times really sucks the enjoyment out of it.

Got my fingers crossed that we can get back on track vs. the Giants.

C'mon, man. You've been a Skins fan long enough to know that every season goes from "The sky's the limit!" to "The sky is falling!" in two losses. Overreaction is the only reaction for the average Skins fan.

During the BS (before Scot) era - we kind of got used to getting let down - sometimes easy, mostly, a big time FAIL

as some of you know, I'm not a Gruden or Cousins fan but I thought that this season Cousins would be highly motivated to get himself a huge salary to play QB here much like Flacco did and that Gruden would also take a step up and show that he's a decent HC

it's just disappointing to see what is happening on the field - hopefully these guys can get things turned around this week - a W would be great but it's also V important to show that what we saw on the field the past 2 weeks is not indicative of poor coaching & playing
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance

Yes. The offseason is wayyy too long to give up on a season after two tough losses against a great team and a division rival. There's a lot of football left, and we're not out of anything yet.

Gruden is in over his head. He benefited from having a mediocre team in a terrible division. Cousins is who he is, an average QB. When you have Jackson, Reed, Garçon, Davis and you can't outscore a team with a bad defense and a rooming QB?? Cmon son that is just pitiful.

Norman to guard OBJ except in the slot. Apparently coaches wanted Norman to guard #1 wr. But Breeland wasn't happy. The last part I'm skeptical

I'm just pissed off at the level of play - it's not the 2 losses that are the issue - the product on the field is not good at all

this week we have a division rival on the road - let's see who wants it bad enough

time to get this train back on the tracks ...

I'll check in Monday ....

Nah, your mistaken! I'm just really pissed about the product on the field - we would most likely have lost the Steelers game even with good play but the pukes game was really disappointing

it's only been 2 games but do you think we have a $15M+ QB in Cousins - he wanted over $20M and he wanted a chance to prove it - do you really think that he can improve that much over the next 14 games?

I do think we have a 15m/yr QB. No idea if he can improve enough to earn $20m/yr. He still wasn't as bad on Sunday as you're making him out to be.

What makes you think he is worth 15 mil a year? Do you think the last 7 games last year earned him this amount? Do you take into consideration that he is yet to beat a team with a winning record? The only reason he has the stats from last year was due to the team playing teams with losing records. You do remember Kirk and his throwing interceptions? Well it appears that trait is back. Also I have a problem with a supposed franchise QB that has to take adult classes for confidence. Yes he took confidence classes! No way he is worth 15 mil a year in my book. He is at best a career backup.

The QB market for a QB like Cousins (when he plays well) is about $15M-$16M - Cousins thinks he's a $20M+ value QB and he was determined to prove it on the field - he has certainly not come close so far but he can play better

big test for everyone this week in NY but especially for Cousins who not only needs to improve his passing but also his decision making

We don't need a QB with great stats, we need a QB that can find a way to lead his team and help them win

Cousins needs to step it up big time ... but then again .... it's NY Giants week, what more do you need?

The same as I tell my team...on to the next game! I don't let a couple of numbers on a scoreboard on any given weekend determine or define our enitre season!

I liked this discussion better the first time I heard it, when I wrote about it several days ago. Nothing like someone who takes your thoughts and ideas and posts them as though they were an original thought. In intellectual circles that's known as "plagiarism."

wins and losses are all that counts with many fans - I keep posting (like a broken record  ) it's the quality of the play on the field that is important - it has only been 2 games - I'll be OK at 0-4 as long as the product on the field represents players and coaches doing things as well as they can

we saw too many examples of bad decisions and bad execution by coaches and players last week

this week, I'm hoping to see a much improved game from both players and coaches

then again, I'm a Redskins fan and I cannot stand the giants - NY sports fans are the worst
