Yeah, somewhere near his right ear. Ouchhhh.
Now, I'm too young to have witnessed the '83 leg break play. . .but Barker's nose is the 2nd worst looking injury--in terms of pure grossness and shudder-factor--that I have ever witnessed (first place was when Ed McAffery's leg buckled as it broke during Monday night game a few seasons ago).
