Redskins - vs. TB (4-12) & @ MINN (5-10-1)
Giants -@ DET (7-9) & vs. ATL (4-12)
Cowgirls - vs. NO (11-5) & @ CHI (8-8)
Iggles - @ GB (8-7-1) & vs. CAR (12-4)
Nice, thanks for clarifying!
Riggo, I was thinking the same thing actually. I'm on the same page as Gibbs when he said "I never saw one I liked" in regards to a season schedule.
Just wanted you to know you weren't the only one thinking this. But yeah, PAPDOG cleared it up for me as well.

Playing 2 Monday night games in October and also playing Seattle and then @ Arizona is going to be interesting - those 2 defenses were tough last season and there's little doubt they will be tough again
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Right on, man. I hope everybody in DC feels that way and shows up to blow the Seahawks out of Fedex.

Just FYI folks.. (not turning this into a ticket thread) but I looked up tickets for that 10/6 game and right now the endzone seat front row is going for $250. That's a good price I think for that seat, but than again I honestly have no clue. I can't afford it right now but I hope by the time i'm able to that they will still be there. MNF.. front of the endzone.
I swear if I get a ticket I'm bringing a THN sign to that game !!!!!
Yeah Seahawks would be good I suppose... Maybe it is just me or a coincidence. Every time I go to Fedex, it turns into an expensive nightmare. On the other hand, I had good times in RFK. The long walks, prices and parking are a bit of a turn off for me. If you guys are into it, all the power to you.
I like the way our schedule is set up. A teams record is only part of the equation in the final determination of the schedule. The matchups and star power are also considered. RG3, Luck, Wilson and Kaepernick? Makes for good TV as well.
Facing the NFC west arguably the best division could be a good thing. We need to face top tier competition to test our team. If we can at least go 500. against the NFC West. We should be a SB contender.
I am looking forward to avenging the loss to the Niners and Seahawks. All though I have a feeling we are going to take some lumps in those games. But will be a good test.
The NFL schedule is based on each team playing every other team in the NFL on a regular schedule - it is a simple formula that has been in play for years now

True, but a team's opponents are only a small part of the schedule. How many prime time games a team has, when their bye week is, how many short week/Thursday games, do they have to travel to London, consecutive road games, when you have to play certain opponents, all of the HOW of the schedule is not based on a simple formula at all.
I'm pretty sure that's what HEROHAMO is referring to.

Not to mention which non-divisional opponents you play at home, and which are away.

Heck the whole NFC is brutal. Carolina, San Fran, Seattle, Arizona, St. Louis, New Orleans, Green Bay, Detroit, Chicago and even the teams who missed the playoffs like Minnesota and Atlanta had previously made the playoffs.
I think the NFC East is set up for us to take it over. I think the gstrings, smeagols and pies are on the way down. While I dont see the Pies getting any better any time soon. I am hoping they dont land Jhonny Football. Its a rumor going round. If Jerry messes up like he usually does then we should be set for years to come.

Let them take him... I think he blows up... and not in a good way.

I don't know... I'm kind of hoping they do draft Manziel. Seems like a 50/50 shot he'll either be a huge success or a massive failure. That team is kind of a mess right now because of cap issues where the latter seems more likely.
We'll see about the Eagles. They still look solid IMO. It will be interesting to see if Foles is as successful without DJax out there. And McCoy is still dangerous.

I don't know Tre . Id rather they draft a punter with the first pick. Wouldn't that be ideal for us? Rather then wish a rival to draft a heisman trophy winner with the potential to be great?
No Tre, dont let your hate for them blind you. Trust me on this one.

The key word is potential. If he is a miserable failure at this level, then that would be more ideal than drafting a punter. Not only would he cost them several picks (assuming they trade up to get him), but he would cause an immediate QB controversy, and they are committed heavily to Romo.

I'm with you 100%. So much potential for a Jurrah sized debacle if they pick Manziel.

OK we know they wont draft a kicker in the first. So let me get that out of the way since I said it.
Now if they draft Manziel I still dont want that happening. They have offensive weapons all over the field. They have Dez, Witten a running game and Terrance Williams had a very good year for a young receiver. Manziel would have all the necessary tools to succeed.
I am crossing my fingers that they draft any player other then Manziel.
With Romo we know what we are getting. An aging QB who fails in the biggest moments. Why would I want anything else for the Pies? Its been a pleasure for me to see Romo do what he does best. Choke when it counts most.
Why would I want them to draft a QB who has been clutch for most of his career? Nope I must put my foot down. Its bad for us if Manziel goes to the Pies.
If they land Manziel that could attract a big time coach. They already have one of the best WRs. We could be seeing another 90s pies. E. Smith, Irvin and Aikman do you want that again? No I dont think so.
Be happy with what we have in a mediocre Pies team. Its good how it is now. They have no defense an aging QB a horrible head coach and crappy owner. Thats how we want them forever.
