I really don't see why people are saying are secondary is all that bad, D Hall has regressed but he is a former pro bowl player and I thought he was good at one point, maybe just good selling wolf tickets. Josh has always been a steady corner, not flashy and a step above serviceable IMO I think the problem is the play calling and the offenses ability to exploit it, I also think Williams and Gnomes especially Gnomes has had a terrible time the last few games, at least with Reed I could only get so mad cause he is slow and we know it, but I thought Gnomes was going to really take a step up this year, especially after the Saints game, but against the Rams and Bengals he has sucked......

The secondary is a unit.. I think Hall is good, even better @ nickel.. Josh is the best cover corner on the team... But with terrible safety play even Revis will get torched. No to mention Griffin coming in as a third cb- turrable!

That's why in the backfield thread I wondered why not bring OJ Atogwe back? And/ Kevin Barnes?
I'm hopeful some of our secondary woes are laid to bed w the return of Brandon Meriweather but time will tell.

Any word yet on whether Merriweather practiced tonight? We definitely need that dude back there soon.

I believe OJ's hamstring is bad which is why he didn't make the Iggles roster. I wonder why Crawford couldn't play Safety. Think he is too small? He had a good preseason and it makes no sense to play good in preseason to get pine splinters from sitting on the bench. Hell he can't be any more worse than Griffin who was a terrible pickup in my opinion. Hell what's Smoot doing these days is he too old??
