GM Hogster's Big Board Including Possible Moves
3rd Round
You can find starters in the 3rd at some positions that are traditionally undervalued such as (Interior O Line & RB). As a result, this pick is huge.
Mitchell Schwartz (OT Cal) Started all 51 games at Cal. First Team All Pac 12. Outstanding Run Blocker & Physical Pass Blocker. Academic All American. Has played Left Tackle. Could become a more athletic Jon Jansen at RT.
LaMichael James RB Oregon: I know, we don't "need" a RB. But, this guy is a late 1st round talent in my view. He's compact, explosive, and elusive. Could become a hybrid of Ray Rice & Darren Sproles. If he's there, he's a steal.
Brandon Washington OG/OT Miami. I admit, that I am a huge advocate of Lamicheal James and I project he will become a top asset out of the backfield. But, I would run to the podium to take versatile interior lineman Washington. He's 6'4 320 with a good deal of athleticism inside. I think he can become a Pro Bowl caliber interior for the Redskins. The 3rd Round is essentially like the early 2nd when it comes to interior O Linemen. If he's the pick, get ready to watch either Kory or
Chester take a seat.
4th Round
While, if I am the GM, I am keeping both of these 4th round picks, one or both of these picks could be packaged to move into the 3rd or 2nd round--depending on how a trade is structured. I'll base my projections on us keeping both.
102 Overall: Chase Minnifield CB Virginia. If he falls this far, this is a no-brainer. At 6 feet and with a long wingspan, he would be a perfect nickle corner. Good pedigree, and went to an excellent school. He's no dummy.
Nigel Bradham ILB FSU. The only reason why he's behind Minnifield is because he plays a position where he may not play immediately. Minnifield could be our Nickle Corner day 1. While, Bradham would be behind Riley & Fletcher at least initially. I am a Riley fan, but Bradham is the kind of freak you want inside. He is a better interior pass rusher than Riley, and he can't be blocked with a running back. Monster. 6'3 240 with a desire to hit people. Nasty streak. I want this guy on my team.
109 Overall: Nate Potter - OT/OG Auburn. We need O Line talent, and Potter has it. Depending on how the early picks turn out, I would be looking at guys like Potter & Washington who are versatile enough to play interior positions.
Ladarious Green TE Louisiana Laffayette: 6'6 Tight End with a 36 inch vertical. Runs a 4.5 forty. Chris

ey is getting older, and it would add a tremendous wrinkle to our offense if we could pair Green & Davis at TE for RG 3 to throw too. Especially, if you add a guy like LaMichael James as an explosive RB out of the backfield. And, guys like Brandon Washington, and/or Nate Potter on the O Line. Some might argue that we don't need a TE. I disagree. The Patriots showed what two athletic TE's can do, especially when you get up on the 6'6-6'7 height range. Red Zone threats who can spread the defense out will help RG3 thrive in his early years. Tight Ends are a QBs best friend.
