Ooooooo k.
The talk about them being jus good is crap doode. Seriously rubbish. Fred is a leader and constant producer on our suffocating offense. He has the most yards and catches right? Ya Cooley is my boy but Fred has been a great back up and is a great starter.
Now Trent is a beast. He came in rookie year vs some of the best pass rushers in the game. He held his own very well. This year he has shut Dware down among other elites while fighting injuries. When he is not in the line up it shows and hurts.
I agree w the sentiment this could bring to our team in regards of family and togetherness. Make it a positive add cohesion and pride for THE team. Not kick them while they are down but help them get to the next level and above these childish mistakes.
As for offense number I haven't seen any solid proof or reports even. Went from first time to they failed again within a month... Where did three come from? Has it been disclosed that it was in fact weed? Not a performance enhancer or something legal? Also if they were chiefin the bomb dizzle thinkn this lock out would never end (not a great move but somewhat understandable the way it was going) then got hit w a surprise as I've read they didn't get the time that was told to them... Then failed a fallow up for the pure fact it hadn't entirely cleared out their systems. Then its more like one mistake vs two
I hope Trent and Freddy turn this around and are long time pillars of this offense.

Now ima puff puff pass to the next rant

Seriously, they both need to go. If you are too stupid to stay clean until your next test that you know is coming, you are too dumb to play here.

Both have failed three test... both were facing one year bans had the NFLPA had not stepped in on their behave. Granted they were told they would have a grace period that was shorter than they thought, but they were told they would be retested and the positive results good away if they passed the second test (witch was beyond the expected end of the grace period), and they still failed it.

Seattle Seahawks rookie guard John Moffitt was also suspended four games for violating the league's policy today. If it a performance enhancer or something legal the NFL would have said so... that' why we know Mofitt wasn't suspended for pot.

It's VERY clear that some here are not sharing with the rest of us

these players knew that they were going to be tested and yet did some more dope

are you kidding me

these idiots are beyond STUPID and some here think they should be looked at as leaders

THESE 2 PLAYERS ARE LOSERS THAT NEED A LOT OF HELP

hopefully they're not still in denial about this

these guys need a lot of help and guidance

they also need to admit publicly that they are the most stupid players on this team
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Lmao I'm glad this is our biggest "character flaw" this year.
I find over boozing clubbing and hangn w the thugs much worse then blazing to much and not cleansing properly before a test.

Line em up and shoot em this can't be tolerated!

It would be silly to get rid of the players. I think the frustration for me is more aimed at Trent Williams. And, here's why.

He was a Top 10 Pick with the reputation for being a talented guy who had a P*$$ poor work ethic. A guy with limitless potential if he'd grow up and become a pro.

1. He has not shown himself to be able to get his body to stay healthy which to me suggests that he still hasn't grasped the work ethic/professionalism thing.

2. He hasn't been able to stay on the field 2 seasons in a row.

3. He was a no-show at the offseason workouts. (workouts that leaders like Fletcher showed up for). And, his excuse was "I ain't hear about it" or "I ain't have an email account." Other guys said they had personally called him.

4. He said this offseason was the first time that he ever did Squats to train.

5. And, now it's apparent that he's not only smoking trees during the time where he should be working his hardest. But, he's dumb enough (or doesn't care enough) to keep flunking the tests.

My frustration with Trent goes beyond this incident. He seems to me to be a less idiotic, offensive version of Fat Albert. A guy who could be dominant, but doesn't seem to get it until it's time for him to get paid. I suspect he will come out and look like Walter Jones during his contract year. I'll take it. But, you've gotta want more from a guy who can do better.

We'll have to see about the capacity that both of these yokels have for learning from past experience... they can count on one thing... the next tests CANNOT be quashed by the NFLPA. There are no more second chances. A positive test will (not "may") result in a full season on the sideline.

As Boss Hog notes in his latest article, "Joint Suspensions" young Mr Davis, especially, is likely to find that a very expensive high.

He has just hamstrung his agent in his effort to negotiate his next contract... Davis is now a microgram of THC metabolite away from disappearing from the NFL for a year. Who want's to take that risk?

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

We shall see who is over reacting

I hope we get to see these guys play some great football in B&G next season

I will NOT be surprised if they don't - that's a huge loss for them and the Redskins

Yeah it was stupid. I think about Dexter all the time when a football player gets busted. Dexter could have have been in the HOF. He was the best in my opinion. Then I think of LT who did get there and messed up just as many times as Dexter or if he didn't it was real close. Dexter could have racked up a few more sacks if he just stayed clean for a little while. Oh well....

So when Fred and Trent left the Redskins' building, they looked at each other and the brief convo went like this...

Fred: Dag, that sux.
Trent: Yea man, but really sux for you.. I'm here for a few more years.
Fred: *shrug*
Trent: *looking at the parking lot*
Fred: Hey Trent?
Trent: Yea?
Fred: Got herb?
Trent: Got rollup?

Some popcorn, pink popcorn.

GRAHAM CRACKERS!!! Graham crackers with the marshmallows. Little marshmallows with little chocolate bars and we'll make some s'mores man.

Celery, grape jelly, Captain Crunch with the little crunch berries, pizzas, we need two big pizzas, man, everything on 'em, water, a whole lotta water and

From cbsportsline.com:

Dec. 07, 2011 2:50 p.m. - by John Keim - Suspended Williams, Davis address teammates
Suspended Redskins Trent Williams and Fred Davis spoke to their teammates in a team meeting Wednesday, apologizing for their actions. Both will miss the final four games after testing positive for substance abuse. "Am I disappointed? Big time," Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said. Redskins RapidReports

Dec. 07, 2011 2:58 p.m. - by John Keim - Teammates appreciate apology, but still miffed at actions
Teammates appreciated that suspended players Fred Davis and Trent Williams apologized to them, though some are annoyed by them not being smarter. “You could tell it was tough for them,” Redskins guard Chris Chester said. “Being accountable is tough. It showed some character. I’m glad they did it.” Redskins RapidReports

Just food for thought and fodder, depending on your prejudices (used in the proper way, (meaning any preconceived notion whether positive or negative) and not just the colloquially negative connotation).
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

Thanks, EM... this is what I would hope for. Hopefully, this sense of remorse carries through, an actually becomes a part of their maturing into responsible adults. We'll see... their next tests won't be so... "random"...

BTW... young Mr Williams... keep in mind that THC and it's metabolites are "fat soluable". This means that it takes longer for a 300 pounder with a BMI of 30 (that would be YOU) to test clear than it will for a 260 pounder with a BMI of 19 (that would be Fred Davis) to test clear.

Got it?

Now, go! Get a clue.
