I just hope Chud comes up with an offensive plan that doesn't require Newton to run at the goaline and I am getting tired of them running him on an option because teams are trying to lay the wood on Cam. He is young and full of energy but I want him to last throughout the season and many more. The Skins hit hard so the Panthers need to do something in the 2nd and 3rd quarters because that's when the team has a tendency to stall. We can't afford to stall out with a defense like the Redmen and the boys in blue need to keep their foot on the gas.

I need to check up on Beck to see what kind of player he is because my boys can't afford to play against a consistent quarterback that can lean on the run game.

Yes, Beck has a different skill set than Rex. He is mobile and has a stronger arm. He is able to extend plays with his feet. On three drives against the Eagles, he generated 9 first downs, a 75 yard TD drive, and another drive into field goal range, but Shanny opted to punt espcially after adelay of game. Beck starting may make Carlolina back off any ideas about stacking the line, but then again, Beck is inexperienced and an unkonown as a starter, they might like to find out firsthand if he can beat them passing the ball.

With Beck, I don't have to hope and pray that a Good Rex will show up. If the Beck that played against Philly last week shows up, that will be plenty to chock up a win for the Skins.

If I were Carolina... I'd still stack the line. Their only hope early is to make Beck beat them. There is really no reason to back off of that, yet. Don't think it will work, but, what the heck... you've got to try something, if you are them.

Where are these stats coming from? Beck has been a back up on 3 teams now he gets a start. How many games has Beck played because he only has 117 yards?

Especially having beck in there I think our chances are very good for a breakout game

Yea that's true but Cam has way more attempts and is ranked 5th among quarterbacks and did you forget he is doing that as a rookie with a limited offseason with no otas, mini-camps or the extra camp since we have a new coaching staff?

To label him as Grossman is an insult.

Do y'all still have the same offensive coordinator? If so, it's going to be hard to install different packages in a weeks time. It's possible but not likely, so with that said I am pretty confident that McDermott has something brewing in the defensive cookbook. Just hope our linebackers can hold their own at the point of attack.

Shanny isn't going to put the game in Becks hand, he is going to attempt to get the run going so Beck can get in rhythm. To think Beck is going to come out slinging the ball will play into our card of tricks. We want Beck to throw the ball up and down the field so we can cause 3 and outs.

This quote here is going to be something I blog about because blind hope is funny. I need to see the highlights of Beck last week. Does someone have a link to point me too?

Beck jas 117 yards or what ever for one partial quarter cool off the bench- last week.

I didn't say Cam is the next grossman at all... He's a great Rook in fact really blew it up week one and two. I just pointed out a stat- he's a rook and growing but ints will come w more passes.. Do u guys run the ball at all? What's your O ranked? Blog all u want we all habe hope and faith just like you hope Cam doesn't throw 4 ints or get mangled by a Kerrigan Sackpo sandwich or a Fletcher Landry double stacker... I hope OJ is healthy I think our D will be one of the better Ds if not best D u have faced all year. I also think Beck did great against a much better d. What's Carolina ranked? I predict along the same lines. Big offense coming out party firing up the D and making Carolina look baaaad. Ill eat crow if I'm wrong this is just what I think can happen

I admitted the Redskins have the best defense that we have seen up until this point and the Panthers are ranked 5th in offense and 16th in defense.

Or Beck could be the next Brees.. And Cam could be the next DeMarcus Russell or Ryan Leaf. I don't think he will be but to prove a point both Qbs are NFL un proven/ unknowk. don't doubt Cam will be the face of the kittens for a long time but yall still aren't a good team and he is still just a Rook.
Your beck stats are from what 7 years ago for a winless Miami team that was 0-8 when he got the nod?? Not stats I'd buy into.
Idk man that article you wrote just wasn't good. I hope we smash yall now in the worst way possible. I might even write a blog for you- nah

I don't think you are fifth in overall O being fifth in pass yards and total yards then 18th in points and 13th in rushing. Idk our O under an incompetent qb was close to yours and our D is top ten cross the board so what ever stats are worth...

I will be watching my beloved Redskins for the first time in a real game live and in person. Been a skins fan for 40 years.

My wish is that we beat the Panthers very badly, and the Panthers never recover from this loss and never win another game, so they can get the hell out of North Carolina and I can start watching the Redskins again on TV.

Well since I got that off my chest, I hope my first game watching the Redskins will be a victory. Hail to the Redskins!!

All the best to you - ENJOY the game

you'll see we have a team that you can be proud to be a fan of

have a great time - these Redskins will not let you down

HTTR
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Cam Newton will throw for 425 yards, 4 TD.
Beck will throw 3 INT and Grossman will be back in the line up next week.

I think I am confused. The Redskins have the same amount of wins this year that the Panthers have the past two years combined. So that means we lose by 5 touchdowns?

Write an article to show me how its done. I am new at this blogging thing so I am still trying to find my way. I'm no where near being the king dingaling at blogging but I will get it pretty soon. I know you hope that your team wins, but like I said the best way for it to happen is to keep the ball on the ground and let the defense dictate the game.

The stats I used were the only ones I can come up with. If you have more recent stats on Beck then hand them over. All players will tell you stats don't mean a thing. Stats are for guys like you and I that watch from the comfort of our homes.

Did you see that Moss interview where he was getting at he wants to give Rex some more chances?

Blind hope can be funny. But I find a Panthers fan talking trash on a Washington Redskins message board hilarious. Especially when you look at your record. :D

If we score 5 td's then I will probably be in the bed until 2pm the next day because I will get wasted and toasting too "it's about time".

Well now I am sizing up your defense because I don't have anything on Beck.

Let's start with Eli, although he didn't score on the Skins, he had one of his longest pass plays of 68 yards and a fair 59% completion average. Eli is top 5 though so that's saying something about your d.

Next Kevin Kolb he only has like 5 touchdowns all year but against the Skins he had 2 so basically he had almost half of his touchdowns against your high powered defense.

Y'all kept the Cowboys in check but that was without ala Dez Bryant, but Romo the 8th overall ranked quarterback so far had a respectable 255 yards and completed 61%

Sam Bradford scored one of his 3 td's against yall but he virtually did nothing but being close to last in offense doesn't say much.

Mike Vick the 10th overall had a decent day, threw a touchdown and ran for 59 yards.

I just hate y'all played Vick right before y'all play against the Panthers because now yall have another wrinkle under your belt before yall head to Bank of America stadium.

The Skins pretty much kept 3 top quarterbacks in check so this is going to be a fun game. So if Cam can get 2 touchdowns, I will be happy with the game whether they come from rushing or passing, but I prefer 2 passing.

one is here to talk trash and ONLY trash

I'm kind of looking forward to this game - you're going to see a very different Redskins defense :D

Orakpo & Kerrigan are going to be a force for the Redskins for many years - Landry is a weapon & should be licensed
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
