Thank God!!! Tired of all those Tarholes showing up on the roster. Finally not anymore. Wouldn't hate the idea of getting Jerrico Cotchery (WR) from the Jets who was cut yesterday.#Redskins agreed to a contract with OL Sean Locklear formerly of Seattle.

The Redskins have signed OT Sean Locklear. He has played his last six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. He is a tackle capable of playing on both the left and right side of the line. He also played guard in college, showing his versatility.
He was the Seahawks starting right tackle last season and has started 78 of the 97 games he has played. He looks to be the back-up behind Trent Williams on the left side and Jammal Brown on the right side.

He's been a tackle for years, but entered the league as a guard. Some think he could play LG and move Kory to C. Can't wait to see where he gets reps in practice.

Any chance Heyer stays? He can play both tackles and looked very good at guard against Titans last year.chiefhog44 wrote:Another upgradeGoSkins wrote:So now we know the replacement for Stephon Heyer!

Even though I had never heard of this guy four hours ago, after doing some reading I very much like this signing.

Sorry to be a jerk, but this is an example of a terrible thread title. It doesn't offer someone reading on the main board much of a clue about what the thread is about.
I'd heard Locklear's name and vaguely remembered him as Seattle's right tackle in the Super Bowl a few years ago. He only moved to tackle when Porkchop Womack was injured during his rookie year though, I really think this is a possible starter at LG
in the making.

Thank the gods! Finally some depth at LT and the OL In general! This guy could push CL at LG or just be a very valuable first off the bench sub.
I hear Capers is struggling and the guy we drafters in the 7th round at OG this year has already pushed him down to third or forth on the depth chart at RT.

It's nothing personal, and the reason it's a bad thread title has nothing to do with me. The thread title is supposed to give readers in the main board some idea of what the thread is about. That's why we have so many duplicate threads out there. Someone hearing about the Locklear signing may have wanted to post the article on the main board but would have had no idea there was already a thread covering it. That's what you should consider when starting new threads. Not me,frankcal20 wrote: Sorry you didn't like my thread topic. I'll consider you next time.
