Maybe the gauge is busted. If he's running with the first team with no fuel, he's fooling a lot of very smart people. Let's just be thankful it wasn't Ike Hilliard.

Last 2 years he looked good in camp then flopped when they started keeping score.

You're right. You know what it is? The name 'Galloway' was very familiar to me when we played TTiT and the Bucs. Seemed like he'd get a million yards every time out against us. When we signed him, I was thinking about not having to worry about that anymore...and just kind of put the whole age thing aside.
Maybe we could dig up Ismail or MeShawn and complete our little antique collection.

Can our WR coach, coach and play? He can't be too much older than Galloway (and he never played for the Cowgirls!)

Shouldn't Plastictoe be out of jail soon?

I would rather have a very talented WR coming out of jail, than a less talented one a few drinks away from going to jail.

OK, lets get this straight. You don't get a DUI from having a few drinks and getting behind the wheel, unless you are a woman under 150lbs and had those drinks on an empty stomach in less than a two hour stretch.

You have a six pack or more over a short period of time and then you drive. Then you do it again , and again, and again, and again...

People that get popped for a DUI don't get stopped the first time they drove drunk, they have done it numerous times. People that get stopped twice for a DUI, drink a drive A LOT! He will get another DUI.

Stop being ignorant. Your body can only process 1 average drink an hour. Regardless of how 'manly' you think you are, it's the truth. It doesn't matter how drunk you 'feel,' it's what your BAC is...and .08 here in VA and most states ain't much. When I got my DUI back in the day, I blew .10 (which was the legal limit just 12 months before I got busted. I passed the field sobriety test, but they smelled acohol on my breath and blew me and THEN I failed.

Well... you are all speaking "textbook" here. Let me give you "real" deal. I have 2 DUI's (or DWI, I don't know the diff.) myself at the moment. The first one I was involved in a car accident caused by a bicycle rider who cut the light and crossed myself and another car (even had witnesses say this).. i was 1 mile from home and I was doing about 40 on a 45. (still, no excuse).. The 2nd one I had to move the car out of a parking lot (restaurant that was closing) and while doing so a cop came behind me and asked what I was doing. I said I'm moving my cousin's car to the street because he's too drunk to drive. He gave me a breathalizer and I was over, so I got in trouble for that. My other cousin (the drunk's older brother) was on his way to pick us up and the lady at the restaurant told me the car will get towed. I explained this to the cop and he didn't even care.

So when I say there's a good chance VJ won't get a third, I'm using my own situation because I've never driven under the influence of anything since than. I'm no longer on probation and its a lesson learned but my point is you guys swear its a done deal for him to fail in life.

Look @ T.O. for example, NEVER been in trouble that we know of but PLENTY of you said "helllll no" to T.O. Go figure that one out as VJ is CLEARLY a better WR at this point. Someone said Plaxico.. really? A guy who shot HIMSELF?.. Still, I'd take him cause he got talent. Not you guys..

Kelly is a bum.. he's done nothing for us except get injured. If we could get rid of him now, why not? Instead plenty of you are making excuses. I'm with Brad, I want another championship.

 sorry Vet - it does not matter - no matter how much you drink - if you are stopped and tested and found to be 'over' the BAC limit you are not 'legally' able to drive a vehicle and are guilty of DUI

IF someone has been caught twice then they are going to get caught a 3rd time - Fact is they were not caught all the other times they were driving while over the limit and absolutely convinced they could drive - he only got 'caught' twice

ANYWAY - this is just not happening fortunately, because Allen & Shanahan are not going to trade a draft pick for a guy that is as stupid as this very talented wideout
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Here's what I don't understand. You make all that damn money and you can't get a taxi? I'm sure if you don't have cash on hand, the place you're drinking at will be more than happy to pick up the tab to protect an athlete from getting arrested from coming from their establishment.

Thank you captain obvious.

And As LPJ said, sometimes you DO actually learn from your mistakes. Not everyone can be as perfect as some of the posters  here. I did when I got my first and last DUI 15 years ago. But obviously, I'm just fooling myself. Since I got 1, I'm GOING to get another one. LPJ is doomed as well!

People are creatures of habit but I would think that if someone didn't learn the first time, you would sure hope that they learned the 2nd time. It's a risk for us to bring on a guy who may or may not have learned his lesson and then lose him for a year. Too much risk for me. No thanks.

That's it LPJ - we all want to be a lot better ASAP but getting the pieces together again from what we had is going to take a little time and we should be adding to both our future draft picks and the players we have now

we are not contending for a Super Bowl by adding a few great players - that was the formula that Cerrato and Snyder tried for over 10 years

we will be better this year and next but we need to have patience and look towards the next few seasons to see a consistently competitive product on the field in B&G

we do not need great players - we need to have a really good team and that takes time and a really good FO which we now have
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

man oh man - you can lead the horse to water but you cannot make him take a drink ...

I hope that everyone learns from their mistakes but I'm fairly sure that this guy from all accounts thinks he's not only a special receiver (I've heard he thinks he's the best  ) but IMHO I think he thinks he will not get caught a 3rd time - IMHO I think he thinks he will not EVER put himself in that position again

he is not going to wear B&G because he is not worth a draft pick AND the chance that he will drink and he will get caught driving a vehicle

that's it - from Captain Obvious

We now have a FO that will add the correct pieces to ensure the best chance at success for the whole offense or defense

we now will not be just adding the great players - we will be rebuilding our franchise back into being able to put a consistently competitive product on the field each week

those that want to play fantasy football with this franchise should do it in the proper forum and it ain't happening by just adding the "best" player available each week

just say NO to players like TO and VJ

 good one LPJ - have one for me as well

don't get me wrong - I'm all for having great players as a part of the team - I just think that just adding them like Cerrato & Snyder did was all screwed up BUT if the FO can find guys that are talented and want to come in here and make the other players around them bettter then it's a bonus - coming here just for the money is why we are in this mess

having great players that want to be able to be a part of rebuilding this franchise makes everybody happy - having a guy like Haynesworth is just a royal pain - he makes any defense better but he could care less about where he plays as long as he gets paid - I think that a lot of players feel that way and it's just a shame

OK, lets get this straight. You don't get a DUI from having a few drinks and getting behind the wheel, unless you are a woman under 150lbs and had those drinks on an empty stomach in less than a two hour stretch.

Not being ignorant and while you are correct about a body only being able to process one drink per hour you are incorrect that other factors such as weight, stomach content (when and what you ate) and gender don't impact your BAC. Your are simply flat out wrong.

If you are 240 lbs and have had 5 beers in one hour (no more just those 5) your estimated BAC would be .06 (under the limit all over the DMV).

If you are 200 you are still under at .07.

If you are 180 you are getting a DUI at .08.

If you are 140 you are at .10.

I'm 6'4", 300lbs, my BAC would be roughly .04.

So you can see you are simply wrong!!!

http://www.ou.edu/oupd/bac.htm

According to this http://www.bloodalcoholcalculator.org/ I could drink a six pack in an hour and still be under at .064.

If I was a woman (same weight) I would be .074 (under, but by less). If that woman was 150 she would be .165 (well over the limit!!

Now I would NEVER drive after drinking a six pack over hours, let alone one, but all the charts say I would be under if I did.

If San Diego is going to go Cheapo on Jackson he needs to be brought in ASAP, for a first, or two seconds, or whatever. He is good and not old.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Galloway can still play. To a degree.

Jackson is not worth a 2nd, let alone two or a first!

Identify another way we get a good receiver. We could draft one. How did that work out? I'd much rather give up a pick for one i know is good.

Umm, the draft. Happens every Spring, at least for teams who don't squander all their picks first. We are not a Super Bowl team looking for that one player to get us to the top. Although we've heard that line of crap before too. Be patient, hold on to our picks and develop talent. it is the only consistent way to succeed in this league.
Build through the draft!
