Weather for the game

Post by frankcal20 »

Here is what I've found:

Saturday: Cloudy with showers. High 69F. Winds NNE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Sat. night: Rain showers in the evening becoming more intermittent overnight. Low 61F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Sunday: Morning showers. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low 60s.

If the rain holds off and we have some weather coming into the game on Sunday - does this give the Skins a leg up?

I think so! We've played all preseason and training camp with bad weather and this team is ready for it. We know that Manning has issues handling the ball in rain and with this D-line so amp'ed up, I think we make the plays needed, give the offense a short field and score some TD's.

Cooley may have a big game if weather is a factor.

i think weather is kind of an overrated factor. Both teams play in the same weather and have the same makeup.

Weather isn't as good as it used to be in the old days. Before we lost the Empire.

I don't see the weather being any kind of factor, but if I'm honest with myself, I'll admit I know less about weather than I do about plumbing, and I know precious little about that.

Sorry, I'm rambling.

I was going to make a lipstick on a hog joke here, but I'm too curious about what you mean by "the same makeup."

Defense oriented run heavy teams with game manager QB types. Both teams are built with the same blueprint.

Except their game managing QB just signed a $100 mil contract.

He also won a superbowl. There are obviously differences, but the teams are built on the same principles. That was my point.

If I had a choice, I would take our QB over Manning. I know the results are different but the situations are 100% different. Manning has had the same offense to grow in vs. JC keeps having to change. I think our QB wins out based on his athletic ability and he's shown he can make GREAT choices.

I have never liked the QB or coach - I do not think that Campbell is a special QB but given the same players I'd take Campbell over Manning - actually I'd take Campbell over a lot of other QBs in the NFL right now

I just think we are going to win this game and start the season right - I would love the sight of Coughlin on the sideline in the 4th qtr if he's trailing against this defense
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

He won a Superbowl ONLY because of his defensive line. If they had faced anyone else in that superbowl they probably would have lost. But because they faced a team that relied squarly on their passing game. They were able to blitz and rush Tom Brady all they wanted and not have to worry about the run. With Strahan, Tuck, and Uminyora. I mean holy shizz. You CAN NOT give the credit to Eli Manning. I mean everytime I hear him talk on tv I mistake him for a handicap person. The real MVP of that game was Justin Tuck and ever freaking person here knows it. Eli Manning is a talented QB yes but he is not a $100 mil QB.

i dont understand your arguement. I didnt say he won the superbowl for the giants i said he won the superbowl. My point is that the teams are built the same way. Game manager quarterbacks with a run heavy offense and dominant defenses. Did you mean to quote me there....not sure what your point is chocolate..... :?: :?: :?: I agree with everything you said about the giants superbowl, maybe you dont understand what i am saying...

let's keep this on topic........

Sunday:
Partly sunny in the morning...then clearing. Highs around 80. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday night:
Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Northwest winds around 5 mph.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.
