Snyder-Shanahan meeting
There is a rumor circulating that Snyder flew to Cabo and met with Mike Shanahan --- has not yet been confirmed by the mainstream media, but some bloggers (including me) are talking about it...

Wow, let's hear a rumor, assume it's true, bash Snyder for his failure to let his team gel, and if it doesn't happen we can bash him for failing to make obviously needed changes. When we never hear of it again, we can say how no one would ever work for him, which is why we haven't had a head coach for the last ten years and count Zorn and Shanahan on the list of coaches who were fired by Snyder even if Zorn is still coaching since clearly we can conclude now that Snyder didn't want Zorn to be the coach.
I think I covered it all...

Shanahan was one of the Holmgren-type coaches with final say in all football matters. He got Sundquist (the paper GM)fired last spring, and took on the title...which is to say, he was a fantastic coach, but a horrible GM. Who else would look at the D-Line of another team and then buy the whole line? After Elway retired, they went through the dance with Griese's kid, then bought Jake "The Snake" from Arizona, stuck with him for a while, went to Cutler, eventually. We dealt with Shanahan with the whole Bailey/Portis deal, not Bowlen or the GM.
To bring him here as a GM would be disastrous.

Thats what I was thinking. The blog is sounding like he wants Shanahan to be the HC but he doesnt its Zorn, and thats final. Maybe he wants him as a FO guy or maybe a FO job with some influence on the coaching, like helping out Zorn some, giving some advice. Idk, who does anymore?

Man, I bet they wish they wouldn't have said that Zorn's job was safe.
I've heard the same. I'd love to say I was a fortune teller when I posted this the day Shanahan was fired, but you really didn't need to be Nostradamus to see this one coming.

Lol. There is no way you can say the Redskins have a more talented roster than say...the Ravens. No way.

Offensively this is only half true.
Baltimore has the better QB... I said that before we played them and I was chastised not that I cared, lmao.
Baltimore has a better STABLE of RB. We have the better individual back.
Baltimore was in our position with offensive line woes but a better run FO has gotten them to a respectable degree in just 1-2 years.
We have a better TE.
We have a better WR corps if you go by potential.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Statistics would beg to differ. But Flacco is pretty impressive for a rookie. And Tennessee did succeed in not covering Derrick Mason last week. Who, by the way, is much better than any of our receivers because he actually runs routes and makes tough catches. And still has some speed.

If you had the choice of Flacco or Campbell right now which one would you take? I know that I would take Flacco without hesitation.
Statistically they were similar, which isn't saying much for JC since this is his 4th year in the NFL and Flacco is only a rookie.
Suck and Luck
