As for links, just Google "dangers of......" and fill in the blank. But as with any news source, it's best to cross reference, and look closely at the author/sponsor of any particular site.
Most have it backwards, and believe ANYTHING they read from sources like the CDC, FDA, AMA, ACS etc. What they fail to realize or consider is that these alphabet agencies are in the pockets of big pharma who actually fund most if not all of the studies and trials. Hardly an unbiased situation, especially considering the revolving door between the corporations and the government watchdog agencies.....i.e. an important figure at the CDC works there 10 years, retires, and receives a rich paying position at one of the drug companies he used to police. Rather transparent system of scratch my back and I'll scratch yours .
But we are programmed. We don't believe the news from an unbiased source BECAUSE it is not the CDC or FDA. This alternative information is quickly labeled conspiracy nonsense or quackery or whatever, when it is actually the unbiased truth. Most of these sources have no vested interests in whether you believe them or not, but the drug companies certainly do.
OK, you asked about Nutrasweet before right? Was that you? Anyways, Nutrasweet was denied FDA approval for something like 13 years...like 1967-1980. The scientists testing it refused to approve it's safety, because they had proof that it was unsafe in their studies. Along came Ronald Reagan, who had connections to the CEO of G.D. Searle, patent holder for Nutrasweet. After Reagan's inauguration in 1981, he appointed a new head of the FDA, and soon after (days), Nutrasweet was granted FDA approval....without any additional studies being done. Several scientists at the FDA resigned in protest, but Nutrasweet entered the market nevertheless.
Guess who that CEO was at G. D. Searle? None other than Donald Rumsfeld. Good ole Rummy has been inflicting pain and death upon the american people all his life.

Even while people refuse to believe in conspiracies, and label them nonsense, the same faces show up in different places, for decades doing their little evil deeds. Rumsfeld, photographed shaking hands with Saddam Hussein in the late 1980's just prior to the first gulf war, was a go between, selling Iraq chemicals for weapons.

As for sunscreens, cancer, and the entire industry that revolves around cancer, all you need to do is 1) get used to the fact that power and money are more important to them, and your welfare doesn't even make the list of concerns 2) then it's easy to see why they do what they do, and it is logical and should be expected, even if it is evil and dastardly.
Look, whatever industry you are in, you have to know that the industry cares about it's health and bottom line, and that's it. Safety and quality is only considered as it pertains to that, and whatever laws and penalties that might prove problematic.
Companies dump waste illegally all of the time because the fines they receive if caught are still less than the cost of disposing of the waste properly. It's not right. But financially it makes sense.
Cancer hospitals don't want a cure for cancer....their entire existence depends on cancer. They are "treatment centers" not prevention or cure centers.
You think dentists want a toothpaste or a pill that eliminates all problems with teeth?
You think Ford or Chevy or Dodge or any car manufacturer wants a car that lasts forever and never needs repairs or maintenance?
One of the funniest (and sadest) things is how the American people think about oil and the wars. I've heard people say....so if the Iraq war is all about oil, how come gas is $3+ a gallon now.....huh? We should have plenty of oil now and the price should be dropping...not rising. So your argument is just not true.
This is the childlike belief that any of the benefits of war (which there are many financial benefits to those who profit from war) are intended for the people. Exxon doesn't want low gas prices.....THEY ARE IN THE GAS SELLING BUSINESS, not the gas buying business.
The reason gas is so high and climbing is that this is how THEY want it. The Oil companies set the price of gas, and the price of crude oil....not some band of Arabs in OPEC. You think Saudi Arabia is going to dictate to us? Fat chance. The Sheiks are just puppets doing as they are told.
