There is a big difference between being interviewed for a job, and being offered a job.
Many have been interviewed . . . no one has been offered.
That's because Snyder couldn't find enough (if any) hooks to attach his strings.
Yeah, I'm sure that's the reason

If that were the case, they could simply decline to interview.

So this explains why he's even bothering to interview these guys? You realize the simple answer could have been just to let Gregg Williams run the ship into the ground don't you? Or maybe just fold the team, and liquidate it's assests.

Who's to say that he hasn't done that already and said prospect had the good sense to turn tail and get as far away from this unworkable environment as possible?[/quote]
Well, if he had offered someone an actual contract there would be a media blitz on it. Something to the effect of "Coach Insert-Name-Here turned down a #-year, $##-million dollar contract with the Redskins today..."
They can't even keep secret who they are interviewing, you think THAT'S the detail they are able to cover up?
I know this is gonna be hard to believe but Oswald really did kill Kennedy, man really did walk on the moon, there is no such thing as the Loch-Ness Monster, and Dan Snyder can't completely cover up a major contract negotiation under so much media scrutiny.
