I'd rather be the schnitzel.
CB - We need a draft pick here if Springs is gone. 2nd round selection would be Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie or DeJuan Tribble
CB Springs - Not sure if he'll be back. needs replaced
CB Rodgers could be a star...will step up and be a #1 next year
CB Smoot - Serve's as an ok #2 great back-up and good mentor to draft pick

For real, just because they suck doesn't mean we don't still love them. We would just like to cheer on a WINNING team for a change, that's all.
Just for fun though, can you show me how the "GREATEST" team, the Washington Redskins, even resemble a team? I mean, really...they're a joke. All that talent, as usual, but can't win a darn thing. No teamwork at all, either side of the ball.

Do not say that there is no teamwork. That is an UTTER and ABJECT lie! This team has a great spirit. ANYBODY that after the loss of a teammate goes on to to play hard on the field a few days later, for example, HAS TO HAVE BLOOD in their veins and LOVE in their heart. Do not question their TEAMWORK.
Even if EXECUTION stinks at times, you cannot argue against the TEAMWORK spirit of the Skins.

That is one point that I have tried to communicate a few times on THN during this season. We have had our share of under-achieving paycheck collectors in the past, but this team's heart and attitude is unassailable. The real problem is that we are making mistakes and coming up short, not that we aren't giving it 100%.
Equating teamwork with wins—as in, less than many wins = no teamwork—seems to be the mindset behind many criticisms I see on THN, but I disagree with that thinking.

You see, once the lynching MOB gets going EVERYTHING and ANYTHING can go, any argument can fly, it becomes a competition as to whom can be more destructive. Noting new to me and my experiences in life.
Me, myself and I are with THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS and Joe Gibbs. You ca catch up with the three of US later when times get a little less rough.

RiC, don't take this as an attack on you. I'm attacking the notion that people are fairweather fans because they don't believe this team is going anywhere.
I'll start by saying if people have doubts about this team or don't believe its headed in the right direction I think they're justified. 16 seasons of failure with a couple playoff appearances sprinkled in would have just about anyone believing that. If these people are really fairweather fans, why would any of them still be here? They would've left to follow another team a long time ago.
No one wants to see this franchise in their current state but that doesn't mean they don't get our support. I'm still a Redskins fan and I'll always be a Redskins fan. But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about the product I see on the field.
Maybe saying things like this 12 games into a 16 game season is a little early. I would have to agree that until all 16 games are completed they deserve our full support. I don't think you directly said that but I think that was the point you were trying to make.
For some people, Joe Gibbs is a sacred cow,
