Springs cap number is already included in the cap. If he is cut or released before June 1st his cap number will go up almost $100,000.00

, the team is currently about $9M under the cap

If you woke up in the morning and Springs had been cut, the Skins would be $8.9M under.
Dre Bly has 1 year left on his deal and has a base salary of $4.2M so as it stands we have the room to bring him in too

Now

with Springs still on the team

. If signed to a long term deal his 2007 cap number could be about half what it would be if the trade took place now.
Rumor has it Dre doesnt want to come to Washington JUST for a sweet deal (that's probably already been discussed

...remember the agent makes no money if there is no NEW deal). He wants to be back in the area.

Apparently he wants play in Washington because he has a home near there (he’s from Chesapeake, Virginia) and he has good reason to believe that the Redskins will offer him a lucrative contract extension, something that the Broncos aren’t willing to do.
I still think Springs will be shipped to Detroit if Bly is brought in
