I wonder why not? Actually, I know, but I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.

OK, I won't rule out voting for him because I don't know much about him. Depending on who the Republican canidate is, I may vote democratic. That is unless Clinton is the democratic nominee in which case I may not vote at all. I would still be exercising my right to vote because I would be making an informed decision on not voting. Unlike some who just don't care.
How exactly do you know why I would not vote for Obama?

If they don't, I will continue to vote the other way.

The current "pro-Christian" administration has introduced torture, aggressive war, and detention without charges as policy. It has also done nothing whatsoever for Pro-life or the right to bear arms. What will it take for you to catch on?

Actually, they helped let the law expire that banned a person from having bigger clips for their hand gun and folding stocks. So that to me is expanding my right to bear arms. What exactly do you consider to be torture? Humiliating pictures? Waking someone at all hours of the night to interrogate them? That is not torture.
A lot of Chrisitans believe that we are "in the last days". War is going to happen and Gods word has already been spoken as to what is going to happen. You cannot stop Gods word from happening. You believe that is BS but I don't really care. The way things are shaping up, WWIII is going to happen and its just a matter of time. Too many ideologies and not enough space to accomodate all of them.
Read the bible and you may learn something.
Actually , I tend to think that torture is exactly what it is. Torture doesn't always demand the use of thumbscrews and dental drills.Waking someone at all hours of the night to interrogate them? That is not torture.

This is everything that is wrong with modern Christianity today. The irony that you are "pro gun" and "pro life" escapes you, the horror that you think the Bible accepts or condones war is frightening and maniacal at best.
Let me guess, you support the death penalty too?
WOW
Who would Christ waterboard, cover in feces, sexually humiliate, rape, beat, feed to dogs, murder, ship to foreign countries to be killed and/or tortured, compressed, anally penetrated with coke bottles, dragged, forced to stand for hours in hoods, zap with a tazer, keep in solitary confinement strapped to posts, chain, ignore when sick, hungry, senile, and/or driven insane.
As a Christian I certainly do not believe we are in the last days, especially in the sense of Rapture and all those attendant ravings that were considered holy by a bunch of primitive morons two thousand years ago, most of whom thought the world was flat and also enjoined the world to burn witches, cast out demons, and believe that the earth was the center of the universe.
I do, however, believe there will eventually be a World War III and that it might well be caused by religious fanaticism, Muslim and Christian. Personally, though, I will do my very best in my small way to prevent such a war, by speaking the logical truth: there will be no Rapture following an Apocalypse, no return of Christ, no raising of the faithful to heaven. Why do I think not? There being absolutely no respectable reason for believing so, I am drawn to conclude that the above actually happening is so far removed from probably that I would have to shut down my brain to believe any of it.

So what are you saying? Let's all give up? I'm not some frock-wearing, hymn chanting hippy, but I like to think that it might be worth making some attempt to avoid the apocalypse that you seem resigned to.

If you are a Christian, you may want to read the scripture below. If you do not believe in the return of Christ then you might want to find a new religion.
"Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
"Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth." Revelation 3:10
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory." Matthew 25:31
"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war." Revelation 19:11

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:5-8
