Close but you give him too much credit 1 catch but I think it was more than 7 yards but that was it for the year against yall
bobbie brewskie wrote:you guys talk about "watching ARE" like he is a #2 WR.
ive seen enough of Lloyd, i live in the SF Bay Area and he is not pretty. the guy is inconsistant, not exactly fast, doesnt run great routes and although he makes amazing catches, his hands are about as good as TOs.
Lloyd was brought in to be the number two, not a bad move considering we both agree he wasn't a #1 in SF. but it hasn't worked out YET. I say yet because of the money he was paid so he'll be here next year. Next year he'll have a QB that can actually get him the ball.

Santana Moss is the only WR of the bunch that might rebound, but he wont be the 1400+ yard WR you guys had 2 seasons ago. he did that once and thats it. with the jets he wasnt that impressive either.
Yeah, yeah, yeah we've heard it all before Moss ain't this - Moss isn't going to do that ask Roy Newman (he ran ran by them like they were 1 person they might as well share a name). Brunell is/was

a different kind of QB. That's all I'll say about that because i don't want to rain on JC parade
bobbie brewskie wrote:your guys problem at WR is that they are all 1-dimensional, they all do the same thing. and Campbell might have the initials of JC, but he aint your savior. hes aun upgrade over Brunell, but still doesnt scare me and as much as you want to think he will cure your WR corps, they dont scare me.
JC stands for Jason Campbell we don't get it confused but come Sept. you'll hear it enough you might get confused. Moss runs every route like JC throws them all. Capt. Kaos owns the middle of the field when we run play-action (Portis hurt and Brunell under center - who's going to bite?). Back to the WRs Patten only took up a roster spot this year and we went with 5 wideouts on the 53 man roster (that's the wildcard). Wil that player beat out those on the roster for the #2 / #3 spot, and what will be his capabililties. We'll be adding one once the market opens.
