Parcell's Retiring!!!!!!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Ware, Spears, Canty, Carpenter, Watkins
Barber, Jones all young guys, The real fun will begin however when your next
pointless reply attempts to claim that
they aren't young and aren't real talent

Again, that is YOUR evaluation, subjective by nature and thus not safe from any questioning. Are there players on the Cowboys who are young and talented? Yes. Does that mean I have to agree that each person on your list is? Nope. I'm still not sold on Jones, he can't seem to play consistently; Canty hasn't done anything to wow me, same with Watkins, the Cowboys secondary didn't exactly distinguish itself last season seeing as how the finished BEHIND the Redskins (admittedly awful) pass defense.

He never left the Giants, Patriots or Jets seeming to care what happened to the team once he was gone. He'd screw them (Pats) and raid their staff and roster as much as possible. I just don't think he's thinking of himself as a Cowboy once he walks out the door. The reports even had him approaching the Giants about GM. I don't see it.

That's just a 'Pie fan trying to make it seem as if there is a bright side to this. Well... a bright side from their perspective; it's pretty bright from where I'm standing.

My question is: Has this most recent unretirement hurt the Fat Tuna's chances for induction into the HOF?

Huh? I didn't say there was any side to it. I was just saying he doesn't really care what shape he leaves them in. Personally I dont' care if he stays or goes.

However he never quit and he gave it the ole college try. He can't be ashamed of what he's done during his coaching carrer and I think his time in Dallas, Has been productive and well spent

I suppose you have to play the hand you were dealt.

I'll bet Parsmells met with Jerry Jones and asked him if TO would be brought back. Jones said "yep" and Bill said "see ya!"

I agree with SkinsChic about Romo crying like a little baby and that being the final straw...

or "sippy cup".

Bye, bye Billy!!!!!!!

I like how you didn't mention Glenn, Newman or Williams! Seems like we're already in agreement that they suck!

I also like how you didn't mention Romo! Seems like we're aggreeing there too!

But, Jones???? Do you mean that little guy? The running back? The guy that looks for a spot to fall down? Nah, You can't mean him!

And Barber!?!?!??! Thats even worse then Little Jones! That dude can only carry the ball ten times a game!!! If he could carry it 20 times a game and put up those numbers....maybe! But 10!?!??! NO WAY!

Ware......wasn't Ware the guy that Cooley burned for the touchdown? Or was it Portis that burned him? Gosh, I forgot! Do you remember?

I'm not going to come up here and laugh at Bill Parcells. Matter of fact, he may be one of my favorite coaches in the NFL. But I am a type of guy who loves a coach who comes in, grabs the team by the horns, and gets it straight. Bill did that at every stop. He is a good coach. We wouldn't have laughed so much had Romo been able to hold that PKing snap and the kick had been good. You have to admit that they would have gone pretty far in the PO's. Even though we have a rivalry, and I just as much as anyone hate...and I mean hate...the cowboys but I do have respect for them because in all reality, they are a good team and you cant knock them on that.

Wow, I'm shocked. A Redskin fan with a sense of reality. =D>

To be honest, I'm glad the old man is leaving. He was obviously showing his age when he refused to change his gameplan when it was obvious that the Saints, the Eagles, heck, even the Lions had his number.

Still, they were still good enough to put the brakes on Peyton and the Colts...

I don't think anyone said he was a bad coach. It's just that he coached all the teams I dislike. Therefore, he's subject to this kind of stuff.

Glenn is 31, not exactly a guy you would call young talent. I'm not taking anything away from him, he's still better then most second receivers on any team in the NFL, with exception to Indy. And no, I'm not going to mention T.O. as young talent. Who happened to lead the NFL in TDs this year, while still having the most dropped passes? How many would have he have caught if he didn't hurt his hand? Who knows?

I mentioned Newman, the guy should have been in the Pro-Bowl twice now. That's what happens when you are a shut-down corner, nobody throws at you. Just ask Steve Smith. Oh wait, here it comes those two plays by Moss two years ago right?? Thought so.

Williams, the guy is in the Pro-bowl for a reason and how many INTs did he have this year? One less then all of the Redskins combined?

Redskins Rule wrote:I also like how you didn't mention Romo! Seems like we're agreeing there too!

How long was he at the top of the NFL QB ratings? Oh wait, against weak defenses. Yup, Indy and the Gnats are both weak defenses alright. He eventually finished 5th in QB ratings. Only Huard (only 8 starts), McNadds, Brees, and Peyton Manning had higher ratings this year.

He's also in the Pro-bowl, imagine that!

Just wait until this guy gets a full training camp. You can call the botched hold whatever you want, but, it was still just a fluke play that in no way determines the level of his Quarterback skills.

Redskins Rule wrote:Ware......wasn't Ware the guy that Cooley burned for the touchdown? Or was it Portis that burned him? Gosh, I forgot! Do you remember?

Oh wait, are we living in season 2005 again? Wasn't that his rookie year? Oh, I'm sorry, you must have missed THIS season where he made the Pro-bowl. He did happen to make 11.5 sacks, whereas the Redskins only had 19 for the entire team? You know, I just happened to notice that this year too.

Foreskins- You can't possibly think Romo deserves to be in the Pro Bowl.

I think that the Cowboys have 3 Pro Bowl players: Newman, Ware, and McBriar.

Romo shouldn't be in the Pro Bowl and Roy Williams going is an absolute atrocity. The guy is a laughingstock.

Literally, he is a laughingstock. On NFL Countdown last week Irvin was talking about how Jerramy Stevens had beaten Roy several times in the Wild Card game. Then all the guys laughed and Irvin said "Well, everyone is beating Roy lately"

My point is that going to the Pro Bowl doesn't mean you're really any good. The Pro Bowl is a joke.

Garcia? maybe, but not enough starts.
Vick? puhlease!!

You do know the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest right. Has nothing to do with skill level. So what Jessica Simpson voted a million times for Romo. You must think he's cute too!

Real football fans wouldn't have voted for him. Just so happens that 50% of Cowgirl fans are, Well, cowgirls. Most likely don't even know the game.
I firmly believe the Patriots are the antichrist.
