A few quick points...

1. Why are we making excuses for a so called veteran leader, who acted like a child. He didn't practice but once a blue moon during camp, he cared about nothing but his record, and some of you hit it on the head; he was a cancer behind closed doors.

2. With that bashing out of the way, he was not a waist of money. Matter of fact, he was probably the best of our major investments in the record breaking 100 million dollar spending spree in 2000. He was here for four seasons, compiled an unchalenged team high 29 sacks in that time, and got to the QB. Compared to the other "past their prime" stars we brought in that year, he was a terrific signing. Sanders, Carrier, George, none of them did anything for us. Carrier played one mediocre season, Sanders was a thief, who was being paid until last year for doing nothing, and George was a loser that Sonny Jurgenson LOVED for some unspecifide reason.

3. Who cares?? He's gone now, and we've moved on.

Judging from this thread, and my lengthy response however, I guess a lot of us do

RedskinCity, I dont care who the player is you dont go behind the coach's back and take playing time grievances to the man that signs the checks. At times I felt he didnt care about winning, just getting that stupid record.[/quote]

No harm meant of course but,.....where do you guys get all this inside info...does someone work in ashburn :-k

Like I said unless you were there and until you have sat down a read over his contract agreements stop the Fan speculating. Also I saw one link supporting this. You guys love the media to back up your meningless arguements but hate them otherwise. Move, leave it alone he is gone, leave it alone.

Get some facts to back up your calling me out.

Also as an ex-Sergeant I can give you a lesson on disgruntled employees and why they act the way they do under certain situations/ when promised something and the other party renigs

I never liked Bruce Smith for the simple fact that he got his but kicked by the Skins,Giants and Cowboys in those superbowls. So to me he was a big waste of time. Also i never heard anything positive about him having the willingness to help younger D-lineman in there progression. To me that is very sad.
