I must admit I laugh every time I read someone that writes something that sounds like their kissing butt, but let me pucker up.
What you wrote about Big Jake is right on (the same could be said for Grimm) I persnonally don't think Anthony Munoz was any better than big #66. Gibbs had a bunch of good players on his team the first time around and it is time to recognize the truely great ones: Jacoby, Grimm, Monk, Clark (better than Irvin), and Green (still has a few more years). Players like Donny Warren and Jeff Bostic in my mind are more HOF worthy than Joey T. (or Swann and Stallworth for that matter).

It has the same amount of worthiness to do with the HOF induction as Irvin's lack of HOF induction that everyone seems to ignore. It also carries the same weight as Lawrence Taylor's off-field issues as well. So what's the diffrence between those two and Thiesman? LT and Irvin's NFL Careers were well known because of thier high calibur. Because I don't know anything about Thiesman's career is the reason why he is one of the weaker candidates.
Before anyone busts me on it again. Yes I think Monk should make it in as well as Jacoby.
