Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports the Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with free agent DL Cedric Killings (Redskins), but have not yet released the contract's terms.

A positive move ...

Awesome. I was hoping he would come back. Cedric fit in VERY well when he filled in as a reserve, just like Evans.

Now let's bring back Evans and Stoutmire.

Have to say it. There's nothing like having a guy on your defense named "Killings."

He's going to be Taylor's best friend.

Sweet. Good move. He must not be a "core Redskin" if we are keeping him

I gather you're just making a sarcastic remark, but the issue never was "core Redskins" with our dearly departed. Case in point: Smoot wanted to be made the highest paid corner in the league -- he's just not Champ; Pierce wanted mega-millions -- this coming from a guy warming the pine and playing special teams before Barrow got injured; Clark wanted big bucks -- we made him an offer, presumably pretty good, but he wants mega-millions and willing to leave the only team that ever gave him a chance to start; Lavar paid us 4mill to let him go; and the list goes on.

Our "core Redskins" were guys like Brunell, Jansen, Springs, etc. that restructured contracts (without loosing a dime, I might add) so the team could bring in some more talent. My 2 cents
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

Clark did not sign for big bucks.
Clark signed for $7 million over 4 years, including a $1.65 million bonus.
He left because of Archuletta. I wish him the best.
