SkinsFan55: What do you really know about his character? That he had an outburst with Bill Parcells?
None of us know anything about Bryant on a personal level.
It might be that he DOES have some problems, but none of us can possibly judge his character having never met him. We can only speculate.
None of us know anything about any of these player's personal character unless you know the guy or went to school with him. I think when people speak of character in a football context, they speak of the player's ability to be coachable, be a good teammate, be unselfish, approach the game as a professional even when you are not on the field, and just generally be a pro and perform as such.
Do I know how good of a father, or how charitable he is? No, but that is not what people generally speak of when football authorities evaluate character.
What do I know about Antonio Bryant? Enough to not want him to disrupt our team chemistry.

(traded to Cleveland, Jerry Jones cites his temperment as not a good fit, this coming from an organization that took Keyshawn Johnson, apparently they think he has a poorer attitude than that)

(article from Pittsburgh explaining why Bryant's pension for personal foul penalties and immaturity lead to the Steelers avoiding him and taking Antwan Randel El in the draft)
I am not saying that a guy can't change, I am sure he could, but when you are talking about adding a piece to our team that could take us to the next step, is it a risk worth taking on this kid? In my opinion, for another team yes, but for us no.
He hasn't shown that he can behave since Pitt and Dallas, he calmed down a bit last year, but apparently not enough to convince Romeo Crennell to re-sign him.
I just fear that when the going gets tough, he will show why he is so emotionally volatile. What would he have done when we were 5-6? Judging from his past, he would complain that he's not getting any balls. Remember, we went a stretch of 2 and 1/2 games where no other Wide Receiver caught a ball from Brunell...all the catches went to

ey, Moss, Sellers, Royal, and Portis. What does a guy like him do in that situation? Is it worth investing free agent money in him, when there are other guys who would be workhorses regardless to touches.
I am not saying I can answer the question, but as long as he's a question mark, I would stay away from him.
