If Fred doesn't want the Chargers, i'll take them. If he does then i'll just take DA'Bears.

Sorry... obviously Indy didn't make the cut and paste... nobody chose them yet either...

With the weekend's results... obviously Seattle and Pittsburgh will have the 31st and 32nd picks.

Priority of playoff clubs in a tied segment is based on their advancement in the playoffs, BUT the team doesn't drop out of their tied segment unless they participate in the Super Bowl. So Seattle and Pitt both drop out of their tied segment of 13-3 and 11-5 respectively.

So...

Picks 1 through 26 were already determined (subject to the coin flip at 6 and 7) and should be accurate. The following is what I THINK should be the draft order... this is unofficial of course... and subject to my feeble-mindedness.

27. Carolina (they advanced the furthest of the 11-5 teams eliminated and with all of the other teams placed, they should get the 27th pick.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars - only 12-4 team
29. Denver Broncos - only 13-3 team (SEA don't count a they advanced to the super bowl and lose 'their place in the tied segment')
30. Indianapolis Colts 14-2

... to be determined by the Super Bowl outcome...
31.
32.

So I will post a new list that reflects the changes...

Come on folks, let's fill in these last few blanks. I'll leave it until this Wednesday night and then I'll open up the remaining positions to those that already have a slot.

I'll take Denver if they're still available.

I live here, go to training camp each summer, have season tickets, and occasionally am able to read Ted Sundquist's mind.

Hi Fellow Pickers, I have the joy of picking for the Eagles and as I am based in the UK I am worried that I log on an do everything correctly. So my question is, how is the mock draft run? what are the ins and outs?

Welcome jlanders3... Broncos are yours.

BadgerKing... I'll post format, times etc for the mock later this week.

... and for those now asking about a second pick... I thought ' I'll leave it until this Wednesday night and then I'll open up the remaining positions to those that already have a slot' was pretty self-explanatory.

Apparently not. :-"

:-)

So tomorrow (WED) night at 9... if there are any slots left... I'll open them up to the others.

Here is one interesting little tid bit that I'd like you to think about though... online drafts are sometimes tricky... people don't show up, or people only make one possible selection and it's gone when it's their time to pick... so...
1) make sure you have a few options for yourself
2) Know who picks BEFORE you and AFTER you and be able to make a pick for them as well. You never know when someone might not show up.

As I said... I'll post more details on the mock this week... probably tomorrow night when the list is (hopefully) full.

Any spots left? If we're doing more than one round, I'll be the 'Skins.

Why would we do more than one round? We can't even find 32 people to particpate in the first round.... funny because I've likely had FIFTY requests by PM to do an online mock.

Frankly, if we can't fill the slots, I see no reason to 'expand the draft'.

So as of right now... we have 5 spots left...
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
25. New York Giants
30. Indianapolis Colts
30. Seattle Seahawks
31. Denver Broncos

Actually... I'll 'assign' the Giants to JSPB22, so make it just 4 slots left.

I'll post more details on the mock draft itself tonight, but i wanted some feedback if I coukld get some... what time would everyone like to start? With 32 picks... even at 3 minutes per pick, it'll be an hour and a half long affair MINIMUM... so I was thinking that we'd start around 9:30pm? I will actually post a FULL list with picks and pick TIMES once the list is complete.

Also, please remember to also consider the pick BEFORE and AFTER your pick so that you can 'chip in' if someone doesn't show.

Thanks.

OK so that is 9:30 pm ET which is 2:30 am UK time...Not sure I could do that..but I could give my options to the guy picking before or after and he can post my choice. Or you could say no UK fans..that would be OK I don't want to get in the way of the greater need of my US buddies

It'll be hard to find a time that is UK friendly... but I'm open to suggestions... why doesn't everyone just post when they'd LIKE the draft to be then. I'll take a look at all the times and try to pick the most mutually beneficial one... please post your time with regards to Eastern timezone... but this is the nature of online drafts that makes them so difficult.

We could always break the draft up into parts over two days if it helps too.

Sound off with your thoughts and we'll go from there.

Warmother... you don't have to take another team... I'm only doing this for the fun of it, I don't want there to be any obligatory nature to it. I can easily make up the stagger on all the remaining teams if nobody 'wants' them but i have a feeling they'll get snapped up today quite willingly. But thank-you regardless and by all means if there's another team that you want to do, don't let me deter you.

No, at the time I said that in the interest of fairness that he should take one and then take the other if it was avilable later...

... which it is...

... and he can...

... if he wants...

... but so can anyone else...

... first-come, first-serve...

I say pick US friendly times and I will send you Bosshog a list of choices...if that OK then I feel I am taking part. You obviously can't schedule this to fit UK time..this is American Football
