Mock Draft Sign up

Post by BossHog »

We want to schedule three on-line mock drafts this year for the members to participate in.

These three drafts will consist of (hopefully) 32 board members making ONE first round selection for the team that they are drafting for. We will lay out format etc. later on, but for now we just wanted to give members a place to throw in their hat and indicate their interest.

The three drafts will be on or around the following dates (these are all Fridays, but we'll tweak that as needed):

February 10th
March 10th
April 21st

Please just indicate what team you would like to draft for and obviously your username will be attached to the post. This sign-up is JUST for the first on-line mock draft.

Thanks, and as I said, we'll post details later, but well in advance of the mock.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Here is the mock draft list so far. This first mock will be first come first serve, so speak now or forever hold your piece. :hmm:

1. Houston Texans - air hog
2. New Orleans Saints - andyjens89
3. Tennessee Titans - CLL
4. New York Jets -
5. Green Bay Packers - Smithian
6. Oakland Raiders - sch1977
7. San Francisco 49ers - ea7649
8. Buffalo Bills
9. Detroit Lions - thaiphoon
10. Arizona Cardinals
11. St. Louis Rams
12. Cleveland Browns - Fios
13. Baltimore Ravens - warmother
14. Philadelphia Eagles - BadgerKing
15. Atlanta Falcons
16. Miami Dolphins
17. Minnesota Vikings
18. Dallas Cowboys - Sir Monk
19. San Diego Chargers
20. Kansas City Chiefs

Positions to be determined

21. New England Patriots
22. Denver Broncos (Was.)
23. Carolina Panthers
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
25. Chicago Bears
26. Cincinnati Bengals
27. New York Giants
28. Pittsburgh Steelers
29. Jacksonville Jaguars - skins74
30. Seattle Seahawks
31. Denver Broncos

It'd be nice if members could pick teams that might be local to them (for our geographically displaced Redskin fans like myself) That way, you're taking a team that you should be getting local news on and able to follow closely. My 2 cents

Added. See to me it just makes sense if a guy with Jacksonville, Florida for a location makes the pick for Jacksonville. :celebrate:

It doesn't matter how many times you post it, the 49ers will still already have someone making their pick and the Redskins still won't have a first round pick.

You're already picking for the Jets aren't you? i didn't mean that people had to change... just that it made sense to me for people to pick 'local' teams.

It makes more sense to pick the Cowboys. I picked the Jets since I grew up in NYC and read a lot of the NY papers, but I live only two hours from Dallas now and see a lot more of their offseason goings on these days...

Are you going to be this wishy-washy with the pick too? :-"

OK, I'll change it to Dallas... but I'm not changing it again. :D
