Kudos to you... not just for running with it, but for seeing it through to completion.
You'll find most people take most things for granted around here, but that isn't true of all. Some of us know and truly appreciate that it was your hard work and dedication that allowed the boards to particpate in a year-long contest.

This 2005 chapter is closed but I wonder if Texas Hog plans to Hognosticate the playoffs. I also wonder if the posters might be interested to participate in a new thread with new playoff scores reset to 0-0 for the playoffs.

My point all along has been that REGULAR AMATEUR fans that love the sport and follow the game are at least as good as any of the "experts".
While we have to endure the pain of their "wise" opinions throughout the season, nothing prevents us from confirming what we knew all along. They are people like any of us, only with bad judgment and/or bad faith against the Skins for the most part from Peter King and Dr Z.
Interestingly, the worst score by Theisman was the ONLY one who picked the Skins to go to the playoffs.
Nobody has told me whether you guys wish to Hognosticate the playoffs.

My feedback for the playoff situation would be to have everyone filling out a 'tree' instead of choosing winners week to week. That way, you're punished if you are dumb enough to think that the Giants have a chance at getting to the NFC Championship game. . . :-"

BossHog told me I had the best "score" this week and I just about fell on the floor in disbelief! Unbelievable! From "so-at-the-bottom" for FIRST FREAKIN' PLACE! Girls Rock!

RiC -- I can't say it enough: Thank you so much for taking this thread and running with it for the entire season. My only regret is that I didn't jump in from the beginning. You did an incredible job maintaining all the stats and keeping everyone informed of their standings -- absolutely NO SMALL FEAT there! This was really fun this season and the entire reason is YOU took the time to moderate it for everyone who participated.

I am waiting for a response from Texas Hog. I need to learn if he intends to post Hognostications for the playoffs and, if he does, in what format.
FFA suggested to put together a Hognostication tree from the start and count your wins and losses once and for all from there. Others seem to prefer a weekly pick, which gives everybody an opportunity to recover from once week to the next.
I am fine either way. I just need to learn from TH and BH if they have any plans and what those plans might be.
As to the mano a mano, I would be fine with that. However, why should we deny others, particularly the girl with the new Magic Crystal Ball the opportunity to put you and all of us to shame yet again?
