I understand the knocks on Gardner and I understand why everyone loves McCants (as do I), but you would rather start Scott Cloman than Gardner? I know Cloman looked good in training camp, but come on, Gardner isn't that bad...

Gardner routinely got open - true. I still think that was the routes and not the receiver. One thing that Spurrier loved was crossing routes and slants, especially hard to cover. Gardner ran those, got open and routinely dropped the ball on critical downs. I don't know about you, but I think he is part of the reason PRam started holding on to the ball so long. At first, Ramsey was quick to throw the ball in the early part of the season, and a lot of those went shorter, but as time wore on and Gardner dropped 5-6 passes in each game, PRam started holding on to the ball more and more - like he was waiting on someone else to get open as if he was thinking to himself that Gardner would probably drop it so why bother?

Just my My 2 cents

Hey Justice, I'm on board with the D.A.M.N. organization. How does one become a member?

You just did, dude! Welcome aboard!

If someone offered a late 1st round pick for DMac you wouldnt take it? Why man? We have glaring needs at some positions on this football team, whereas we have great depth in our WR Corps. If DMac leaves, we have Taylor Jacobs/Cliff Russell waiting in the wings to be our #3 and 4 recievers.

I'm sorry but Taylor Jacobs and Cliff Russell can't hold D-Mac's jock strap. If we let him go, one of our "need" positions will eventually be Wide Receiver. He is good now. Someday he'll be great! I want him wearing burgundy and gold when he is.
