next game is huge for all you skins fans like me that believe the skins are only going to turn this thing around if ramsey plays well. so cross your fingers and hold onto your butts.
ke throwing the ball away to avoid sacks, throwing the ball into the stands when the receiver is not open in the end zone and seeing the entire field…on the long pass to Patten last night, Royal was running wide open down the middle of the field and would have scored if Ramsey had seen him.

This is not the QB I want going into the season. So what if he threw some deep balls last night(we all knew he could do that) he throws way to many picks and not enough touchdowns. Poor decision making. This has been his story since coming into the league besides the fact that he holds the ball to long and the obvious that he can't move in the pocket. Pat was like this last year too (more interception than TD's) in the limited amount of starts he had. He had like one perfect game last year and now he is our starter again by default (poor play by Brunnell last year and a rookie that needs more snaps). He has no consistency, no game to see the field, and sometimes can't make the adjustment to get the ball to the receiver. We all know deep down that Pat is not a great QB (average at best, a good back-up) and probably will never be one here in Washington. He can't take us to the playoffs. We just keep giving him the benefit of the doubt because of Spurrier, different playbooks, O-line play, and the fact that he hasn't had enough chances to really start but all that is over. Why the loyalty? Has Ramsey really shown us anything besides the fact that he has an arm since he has been here? Gibbs is no dummy...he knew what kind of QB he had prior to coming back to Washington and that is why Brunnell got snatched up so fast in the offseason his first year and we drafted a QB so high in the draft this year. But we all seem to scratch our heads at the moves Gibb's has made at QB thinking that he is trying to dethrown some great QB. Not me..I see it clearly, Patrick Ramsey is no good. Ramsey hasn't changed at all and if he continues to make these mistakes in the preseason he will be either on the bench watching Brunnell play at the start of the season or leading us to another losing season. We need a change at QB to have a chance this year. Does anyone else see this?
