Thats a horrible article. I mean an F...cmon they filled needs. what we didnt get at wr in the draft we got via free agency.
This really doesnt sum up the organization and draft. We had a hole at cb and we filled it with a gamebreaker in rogers. Im so glad we drafted defense. Thats what wins championships and gibbs knows that. Yeah a great wr is nice but how many teams that won a superbowl in the past five years had a truly gamebreaking receiver. Patriots?....defense Ravens?....defense I'm sure there are a few out there but redskins fans have to be happy with the bolstering of our defense.
look at the lions they have three "great" receivers now....they had two last year and we still beat them....
You cant look to far into this propaganda from footballs future they have to look in the past before they start telling me about the future.
Reminds me of a joke: A man makes an announcement at a banquet hall:"The clairvoyant meeting has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances"

Not that the pukes necessarily had a bad draft, but that writer obviously lives in Te-Has and hates the Skins. How does that pompous tard purport to know any better than anyone else? Leave it up to JM to find an obscure football site with a biased draft grade write-up. I only hope we prove that guy dead wrong in a couple months.
yeah manfreda im sure hall of famer Joe Gibbs with 3 Superbowl rings, a crazy playoff winning percentage, an author whos book lies on the desk of Bill Bellicheck and man who was a complete success in another sport all together is an idiot.. yup, he had a bad draft according to these ppl, so i guess he's wrong and dumb cuz they said so. Nope, that man who assembled 3 superbowl monster teams out of anyone he hand picked just totally messed our season up. they summed it up real well... Joe has no plans for us and his judgment on the draft picks and our future is all wrong.

The original post contains a link to an ignorant review, shared in an ignorant post by an even less informed poster. The first post is just a masochist excuse to feed manic depressive tendencies among some posters in this site.
Our drafted players have not played a single preseason and regular season game and they have been tried, convicted and executed. What a moronic thread!
Nothing as dumb as this post surprises me anymore coming from the original poster.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
I am so sick of reading and talking about the stupid draft. GET OVER IT!!! JM, from this point on, until I see you post something I see from almost every other skins fan. You're a cowboys fan. Since you're a cowboys fan I'm completely disregarding everything you post. SUPPORT "your" team. DON'T post links intended to irritate the REAL fans. I don't mean to single anyone out but I hadn't seen a post like this in a long time. You might be a good person JM but you are the WORST skins fan I have ever "seen". I thought the whining was done. I was obviously wrong.

RiC, I did say might.

That's why he's a cowboys fan in my eyes from now on. He doesn't deserve it. I wholeheartedly agree.

"Might" still has a way high degree of probability for me.

How do you know it is not a "female" under a male pseudonym? Just asking...

I don't know JM personally so I can't comment on his/her quality as a person. And you're right RiC, I don't know. Either way, he or she is one of the worst Skins fans I've ever seen.
I don't want to make more work for the Mods so I'm going to let this one die. JF, my apologies. That just pissed me off this morning.

Why is he not good at picking players, havent seen any mistakes by him yet, people are judging by this years draft who knows how successful those players will be we dont know yet, he is the guy who brought
ey in the 3rd and Sean Taylor right?

" But you should've seen Joe (Gibbs) when they said he couldn't coach anymore...his chest puffed out and said..i dont care what it takes, were not leaving here without another ring." Coach Joe Bugel
The linked paragraph on the Skins draft and organization might be a good summary, but it is wrong.
We've been through this before:
- Gibbs is winnowing out the players who can't play in his organization
- Gibbs knows players, people, and pro-football. He studies hard, and he coaches hard, and he does not accept lazy effort. That includes lazy-mindedness. Also "me-first" focus.
- Good teams don't necessarily draft glamor players; celebrity glamor players often flop; good-or-better players often don't get picked with the dazzling top few picks. Who was the first overall pick in 1980, when the Redskins drafted Art Monk? Johnny "Lam" Jones, of Texas, an "impact" wide receiver for the Jets, a player even most Jet fans have forgotten.
- The Redskins organization had good scouting under Pardee/Beathard/Gibbs/Casserly. (And they had to, since Beathard and Casserly were always trading away their first round picks...).
- Note that under Gibbs, (a) someone is paying attention to the scouting (remember Don Warren?), and (b) Snyder has quit trying to be the general manager. Both are improvements, and both go along with the Gibbs winnowing process.
- If Gibbs and Cerrato chose to pass on the author's favorite big wide receiver.

And Russ Bolinger. He has been on the scouting staff of the Lions for the last nine years.
Bolinger, who spent 16 years with the Lions, accepted a job with the Washington Redskins. Bolinger's new position will give him a greater role in the overall personnel process in the Redskins' scouting department.

THANK YOU!!! To add more fuel to the fire I think that it is worthless to rate a teams' draft picks. We have yet to see these players perform under the stress of the regular season. So why rate someone who has only performed at the collage level? Wait till the end of the season and stop waisting time GUESSING that so-and-so teams' draft picks are rated a A- when they may only be C+ caliber players.
SHE ASKED US TO STAY FOR TEA AND HAVE SOME FUN.....
