And the Bledsoe signing buys Henson some time. He's only gonna be there for 2 years, 3 tops.
No one is down on Henson. He just has a lot to learn after sitting out three years. Plus, Parcells has no patience. He hates having to go through growing pains with young QB's. He hated it with Simms. He grinned and beared it with Bledsoe in NE, but he wore him down doing it.
Even if Henson were ready for that, Parcells isn't trying to build this year. As evidenced by the signings, he's trying to win and win now.
His plan is for Henson to be his successor's QB, not his.
