What would you think of trading down in the draft to get some more picks and get Vincent Jackson in the 2nd or 3rd round???? He's a 6'6" 235 WR....I think he could be a big physical player in the nfl.

I think we take him and try to build our offensive line...I see why some people want a pass rushing DE but our defensive looked great this year.
-trade down and pick up a 2nd rounder and maybe another pick
-take the best Center in the draft
-Vinecent Jackson
-and then pick up a good pass rushing DE and more O-Line depth
Vincent Jackson ???

Simply stated, we need an impact WR, not a project, now! I think he will be a dominant WR, but he will need time to mature. IMO, go for M. Williams or B. Edwards, period!
A more conceivable option, I think, is that both the cowpokes and the skins are looking at Troy Wiliamson. No I might take a risk on him. He seems to have it going on, but wait to the combine.
Rebuttal?
Please post threads regarding the draft in the NFL Draft / College Football forum. I am moved it there.

I noticed Jackson while watching the combine - I really liked him because of his size and better-than-average speed...plus he seemed more mature than the other receivers in his group...if he can block and he's available in the 4th round I'd like to see him in B&G...
I'm just stirrin' the pot and living in the '70s.
