THE NEWS
Four-time Pro Bowl defensive end Trevor Pryce is on the trading block in Denver. "This is not Trevor's doing," Pryce's agent, Peter Schaffer, told the Denver Post. "He did not ask for this. The Broncos came to us, and this is what they want to do, and I need to help find the best place for Trevor." Pryce's $9.1 million cap number for 2005 is only part of the reason the Broncos are shopping him; they also intend to switch to a 3-4 alignment, and Pryce is best suited for a 4-3.

Pryce was limited to two games in 2004 because of back problems, but he is expected to be healthy following surgery. The Broncos are looking for draft picks in exchange for Pryce and would use some of the cap money saved by his departure to keep defensive end Reggie Hayward, who led the team with 10.5 sacks last season.

How is this guy? 29!!! He's made multiple Pro Bowls! I don't know anything about this dude, but he doesn't look too bad. I think I'm liking this free-agency acquisition possibility! That's IF he or Chump's team doesn't ask for WAY too much!
One small thing....he did have a back injury but is supposed to be fine after surgery.
