Re: 2015 post-season wrap up

A fun season no doubt. Playoff game was a great bonus. Going forward, next years schedule looks scary. Will teams game plan us (Kirk in particular) better with film from the last half of our season? It seemed Green Bay had us scouted very well. Kirk could have easily had 3 ints (one pick 6 ...

Re: No surprise: RGIII wants to land in Dallas

I will wish him well, wherever he goes. He has accepted his role this year with grace, and class. He has been supportive of Kirk, and all of his team mates. I would love for him to find a home where he finds success... but I do hope that home is NOT in the NFC East. Bob is one of the good guys.

How is he playing on a bad team? You cannot say he doesn't have the WRS...

Not a bad team????? 4 wins last year 3 the year before that is the definition of a bad football team. An OL that can't run block, a weak pass defense and as the injuries have mounted a suspect rush defense. That said ...

Re: Opportunity to trade RGIII

Houston isn't going to offer a bag of wet towels for Griffin who doesn't think fast enough to run an NFL offense and brings a lot of baggage with him. O'Brien has got no use for Griffin who would be as inept in Houston as he was in Washington trying to run Gruden's adult offense. Maybe there is a ...

At least he isn't killing his quarterback at the podium like he did last year, making himself and his team a laughingstock. Thats progress right? Top ten? No.
I think if the Skins are 3-5 or 4-4 at the halfway mark Kirk will finish strong during the second half of the year if Jackson returns strong and the others receivers perform also.
Re: Grudens use of rg3

. As long as Scherff can get up to speed and Moses is truly improved, our OL is solid. .

These are huge question marks therefore our OL is far from solid which remains problem number one. I like the idea of playing to Robert's strengths while applying common sense (which imo the Shanyhans lacked ...

Re: Your assesment of Gruden in year one. What would you do

Some good thoughts here but I politely disagree with some ideas. First, I live in Utah and don't see all the games or pressers so I may be on another planet but to me Gruden seems a little lost. "We'll look at the tape" is his answer for everything post-game it seems. Like he wasn't on the sideline ...

Re: Poll: Gruden vs. Griffin (who stays who goes?)

We have much more invested in

I assume you're going to say Griffin?

If so, I disagree. The only thing we "invested" were draft picks, but those are gone now and we're back to having first round picks again. Draft picks are not investments, anyway; they are a roll of the dice. If your 6th rounder ...

Re: McCoy will start vs. Colts

There's few thoughts I want to share

Gruden has handled this well and been very fair.

Gruden is clearly making the decisions here.

If in fact RG3 cannot play another down this franchise is in a lot of trouble going forward

There are a number of fans here that are astute enough to recognize ...

Re: McCoy will start vs. Colts

Uh, dude, Brian Mitchell — known as an opinionated commentor and often critical of the Redskins — has praised Gruden for how he's been handling the team and specifically the quarterback situation. You may need to get out more if you haven't heard anyone else point out that Gruden is doing a good ...

Re: McCoy will start vs. Colts

I just listened to Gruden's Q&A, and it sounds like that was a big part of his reasoning. "We're looking for answers on offense," "hopefully Colt gives us a spark," etc. It sounds like he's sending the right message to the team to me. Frankly, I've been very impressed with Gruden's handling of what ...

Re: McCoy will start vs. Colts

I am surprised -even here- to find an opinion of being "impressed" by Gruden's handling of the QB situation. He has made it far worse than it needed to be. RGIII has played poorly but Gruden has been beyond poor in his handling of the situation.
How has he been beyond poor? He spelled it out in ...

Colt McCoy in his pregame interview just before beating Dallas:

“I’m good, I’m good,” Colt McCoy told ESPN’s Lisa Salters before taking the field at AT&T Stadium for his first start since December 2011. “We had a good warmup, had a good week of practice. …
I’m going to lead these guys. ”

Re: McCoy will start vs. Colts

Makes no sense. I especially appreciate the reports that RG3 is still very much in the long term plan. Ok....then bench him short term. Let Colt make a playoff run now ( ) then next year will essentially still be Robert's first year in the 'new' system. Holy crap. Hopefully for him, RG3 can go to a ...

Re: Second Half Of The Schedule

Looking at schedule and the last 7 games I can honestly say 5-2 is possible but more then likely they will go 4-3.
Bucs = Win
49ers = Loss (Could win this one)
Colts - Loss
Rams = Win
Giants = Loss
Eagles = Win
Cowboys = Win

That would put them at 7 - 9 and for me that would be a step in the ...

Ok so now our D has figured them out some what. Let's see what happens with adjustments. I hope we can keep it up and we have a chance still.
Not sure we have figured anything out --just looks like Wilson is handing the ball off instead of keeping it and killing us with his feet. It looks like he ...
