I will say that nobody seems to know for sure where McCloughan stands on this. For all we know he might be fully on board with this plan. He could have told Snyder: yeah I don't expect that we're going to be very good this year so let's give Griffin x number of games and figure out what we have.
Not saying that's the case, but you know what I mean?

After further tests, an independent neurologist reversed his decision and said Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will not be cleared for Saturday's game at Baltimore. Griffin suffered concussion-like symptoms in the second preseason game vs. Detroit. He practiced all week but followed the concussion protocol all week. On Thursday it was announced that he had been cleared.

I hear you - but this is the Redskins and now we hear that Griffin is going to be held out for a while ...
this is just an amazing coincidence IMO - he's obviously the owner's pet, he's not playing well and now he gets a mulligan ...
anyone want to bet that when Cousins screws up and starts to turn the ball over, Griffin will be the golden boy again ... this is just amazing
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
