How is a guy who has a career of a little over 40 tackles a year, two tackles last year, and a busted knee cap this year a solid signing? Thomas was a first round bust seven years ago and is much worse now. This is not a move of any consequence at all.

Probably because besides Fletcher our LBs ...

Cooter,

Welcome to the board. Sorry but you are wasting your time pointing at any good decisions by the Front Office or showing any type of optimism, fan support or loyalty as a Redskins fan.

Do you know how ignorant your post sounds with a statement like that? Thats got to be the dumbest thing ...

SkinsSince96 and Kilmer72,

Welcome to the board. Sorry but you are wasting your time pointing at repeated mistakes by the Front Office around here. We have had this debate in many repeated ocasions. You will find many heated arguments about this dumb and dumber pair.

Just try a search under ...

First off Cutler had a more then decent season. He threw for nearly 5000 yards last year. Making the Pro Bowl and earning the respect of many players all across the league. The guy has one of the strongest arms the league has ever seen.

My main point is this.
The Bears gave up Three draft picks ...

Snyder bought the team and made some rookie mistakes, no doubt. He and Vinny have spoken openly and candidly about those past mistakes, from the standpoint of recognition and learning from those mistakes. Unfortunately, some folks just can't seem to let go of those mistakes, look forward instead of ...

Kinda weird they say he signed April 2nd yet I cant find any news on this from any site including Redskins.com.

Thomas should bring nice depth to the LB corps. Solid signing.

Somebody in this thread said Chris Samuels was an average player. I think he should ask the DE's in the league to see if they agree.

The only players I can remember who have had there way with Samuels are Simeon Rice, Jared Allen, and DeMarcus Ware. In 9 NFL seasons that aint bad. He isnt a HOF ...

I am probably hanging myself out to dry here but I think Synder gets a raw deal on this board.

I have mixed feelings on this. I do like Snyder from the standpoint that he tries to win no matter what the cost. He is a Redskin fan like the rest of us and he wants a 4th Lombardi so bad he can ...

I want to chime in on this. Okay so last year the Broncos were 8-8. Out of their 8 victories Jay Cutler brought them back from behind 6 times. The Broncos in 16 games only had two of those games did they have a running back go over 100 yards. The Broncos had 7 -9 running back on IR. He was the 3rd ...

For who though? Not Denver if they have any sense. He's a marginally better QB than Simms but the Broncos just gave Simms $3m. I think Orton ends up elsewhere in trade for picks as Denver tries to move up the board and gets a QB who can throw longer than 13 yds.

How many TDs did Orton throw in ...

While I agree that Moss and ARE aren't Fitts or Bolden, but if Moss is healthy (and that is a big if) they would be more than enough, when combined with ey finding wholes in the zone and Thomas running deep routes (Campbell almost never looked his way), Warner would be FAR more productive than ...

I see what your saying now. Where the Skins pick is worth 75. So the total can be anywhere from 450 to 500 depending where the Skins pick in the 1st round.

Earlier, the 450 then the 75 in ( ) had me confused because I thought you meant the 75 was in the 450 already. Which had me lost because I ...

Fleetus, Im not sure if you got my PM but I think the total should be 500 if the Redskins pick is worth 75. You have the Skins pick listed as 25 and the total with the pick being 25 is 450. So if the pick is suppose to be 75 then I think the total should be 500?

I also think the NFL Draft this ...

Re: Draft Fodder

OK. Pretending to myself you didn't understand what I said . I'll take my time and make my comment clearer. Last year, Dockery, on a team other than ours, allowed more sacks than anyone on our team allowed.

Dockery imo should play better back with the Skins. We know what he can do and while he ...

Fat Albert is a good player but Danny/Vinny overpaid for him. I just hope he puts out 100% and not lay down after getting the big money.

I agree 100%. We did overpay for Haynesworth. If he goes out and plays like he did in Tennessee he will be worth every penny though. Its a big risk for one ...

The Bears also gave up two first round picks and a third round pick. Players the Bears will need sooner rather then later.

Have you been paying attention to Angelo's drafts for the Bears? I give up the three draft picks and Neckbeard for Cutler EVERY day of the week and don't think about it ...

What did the Bears give up?

They gave up Kyle Orton who is a solid QB and more of a winner than Cutler. When Orton has better numbers than Cutler this year you will see why I think the Bears gave up too much. You cant fault Orton when he has no WR with a pulse.

The Bears also gave up two ...

Re: Draft Fodder

OK it's April and we can offically open draft talks. I'm coing to throw my 2 cents in and vote for drafting Clay Matthews from USC.

Im not as high on Matthews as others on this board and around the league. I think hes the third best LB from USC in this draft.

I understand the need for OL and ...

#2 Kurt Warner's O-line last year was worse the the Skins! Yes, you heard me. Worse! Zona was #32, Skins #8, in the league in rushing, the biggest indicator of how well an O line is playing. Next is sacks Warner was sacked ten times less than Campbell, so on the surface that looks better ...

You are way off. Wrong!

Cutler is already a proven asset. He put up the numbers to prove it. Mark Sanchez and Matt Stafford are both unproven. Stafford played for a bigtime under acheiving team in Georgia. Sanchez on the other hand only started one year in college.

Huge numbers? Look at his ...
