I heard something of this order as well. It was along the lines of we have to be under the cap by a certain day? That being said, we'll have to trim some of the players that we're not going to want back or to at least put us under the cap. We'll still have the option to re-sign them later on.

Rock's not going anywhere. We get more production out of Rock than ARE anyway. The should let him run more too.

So, you enjoy 2 yard runs.

Rock is James Thrash with a regular job. Good guy, works hard, but very limited talent.

Like James Thrash, I don't understand why he's still on the team ...

I can't say yay or nay after just this season. No he wasn't lightning but he wasn't garbage either. I think he did take too long and the protection seemed to get worst as the season wore on. Apparently it hasn't been enough for the FO either. Next year will be the make or break for him so we'll have ...

It's there for everyone to see. I wonder why Vinny was so suprised? It's going to take at least two drafts to rebuild both lines. We'll have to wait and see what happens. It is good to know that there are problems and that they're willing to address them.

We'll never be a great team unless we can beat the great teams and experienced coaches. The NFC South is tough, so I'm glad we're playing them. I've been to an Oakland game and it wasn't bad at all. I didn't have my gear on either. I did go to a Philly game in 2000 with a buddy who wore his Rams ...

I'd love to blow it up. It would hurt more than it would help. There are a lot of coaches and GMs that would never touch this team because we can stick to a plan for more than a season or two. The dead cap would burn us heavily if we cut as many players as some suggest. If you want to play with ...

JLC doesn't say anything new. It was obvious from the end of the season what happened. With the restructured contracts it will be impossible to completely rebuild the O and D lines with only four draft picks and low FA money to sign quality players.
It took years to dig this hole. It will take ...

Jansen will probably be a cap casualty the season after next. We'd chew up some dead cap this year. The word on the street is that he'll be moved over to guard to finish his time here. Since Heyer isn't cutting it and Rinehardt hasn't impressed anyone. This would make sense. Pete Kendall will ...

I was on the trade a pick for Rodgers boat myself. Thank God for these blogs because they've taught me that's a bad move. We got CR for another year on contract and he's not that bad of a player. If he leaves after next year then we could possibly get a draft pick for him regardless from what I've ...

Europe! What-ever?! If Europe was a great place to live the U.S wouldn't be full of Caucasians and we'd be posting in Cherokee. Who really cares about Filth-a-delphia fans anyway? We own Philly!

Can we still trample the elderly? 'Cause, if you're ruling that out, I'm done here. :)

He He He.
I was thinking of what happened to our O-line last year when pondering my stick and it hit me. Those old guys got trampled.

...and in all fairness, 9 out of our 10 draft picks did make the team last year. There are signs that the FO is trying to change their ways, for the better. You can upgrade your team through the draft AND free agency, so there should always be a balance of both, as has been previously discussed ...

If you look at the organization as a whole, he is responsible but the fact that there is not a solid front office, that is part of the problem too.

If he get's a gm and hc, with a five-year plan, then we'd be fine...

From what I've read he's already tried that. No one wants to touch this team ...

I say sign Hall if the price is right.

It's nice to have a secondary that's good enough to wonder if we should keep D Hall.

I wish we could say that about the O-line.

Jersey's have nothing to do with performance but I would like to see a black jersey with red numbers and yellow outline and still with the red and yellow on the sleeve.
