If this is the guy I'm thinking of he won't be a good fit in Shanny's backfield. A big bruiser but not very agile or fast. Eagles want him for his size but, having watched BYU on several occasions, not a good pick for the quick zone cutbacks we'll need here.

I still think that JC's in the wrong system.

He's not in the wrong system - he's in the wrong sport. Campbell doesn't have football instincts. Doesn't have "It," as someone said previously.

Good video put together by NFL.com analyzing one of JC's main problems last year. Can't count the number of frustrating times he would checkoff underneath on third down passes. As John Madden used to emphasize on MNF, if you don't get it at least to the down marker you're coming off the field. Can't ...

Re: Clayton Lists Skins Amoung 2009 Surprise Teams

Clayton says: "# Offense means everything in projecting surprise teams. Usually a one-point increase in scoring can add a win for a team. That's one of the reasons you look for a team to be a surprise if it has a good quarterback who's coming back from a season in which he missed a bunch of games ...

The QB's you just mentioned may not have been stars in the traditional sense, but they all found a way to get the job done - something Campbell has yet to show he can do.

Here are the scenarios facing the Skins: 1.) If A. Smith's still there at 13, he's their pick. 2.) With Smith gone, they'll need to decide between Oher or one of the defensive guys. Don't know who stands out here - Cushing, Maualuga, Jackson, Ayers, etc. 3.) Now, here's where it gets interesting. If ...

Agree with a comment I saw from another thread. Campbell will be the QB this year. If he fails and Sanchez is here, then Campbell moves on at the end of the season. If JC succeeds and garners a new contract, we now have a #1 sitting as back-up. Classic QB controversy in the making.

Mel Kiper's latest mock draft

I see where Mel Kiper has us picking Mark Sanchez at # 13. Thoughts?
