Re: Major fall off in participation in here

What do you expect. This team has gone from a once great and proud team, to the laughing stock of the league...and it's all because of Danny Boy...if the team had stayed in the Kent Cooke family, they'd probably be still winning...

Re: I'm feeling optimistic

Every team deals with injuries.

I have no explanation as to why more of our players get injured that the rest of the league.
There's no logic behind it. Except that other teams seem to be more physical than us.

Contrast that to the Redskins teams of the 80s and 90s and the reverse was true:
we ...

I'm very sorry about what happened to Smith but I'm really looking forward to having McCoy play QB for the remainder of this season

this season was basically about getting ready for next season for a while now - we're very fortunate to be 6-4 ...

we can still beat up on the other teams in the ...

Re: I'm feeling optimistic

SkinsJock - When will you learn not to get your hopes up on the Skins? They could be 7-1 right now, and I would still expect them to blow it. They've gotten our hopes up before, only to stomp them in the dirt. They're still coached by Jay Gruden and owned by Dan Snyder...that should tell you all you ...

Re: I'm feeling optimistic

I think the Skins' record is more of a reflection of just how poor the division is, rather than the Skins being good. Why do I say this? Because a truly good team would not have gotten blow out vs the Saints like the Skins did...I hope they win the division, but I don't see them going deep into the ...

Signs that show this team never improves

Team can't win divisional games.

Team can't win games televised during prime time.

Team is usually still in contention for the post season with 2 or 3 games to go, but always loses the game they must win to get in.

Many, if not most of starting players are out due to injury.

Team loses to ...

Re: Chargers: 12/10/2017...A New Beginning?

The Skins are the same every year...they hobble through the season with massive injuries at around .500, then they COULD get into the post season if they win one of their last two or three games, and they always lose that game, usually to a team in their division...same ol' story every year with the ...

Re: Chargers: 12/10/2017...A New Beginning?

My Sunday afternoon:

I sat in my favorite pub, had some great dark beer and an amazing dinner of Mahalo pork, and watched Carson Wentz tear his ACL and flush the Fecals season down the drain. I watched not a second of this latest poo-storm involving this team formerly known as the Super Bowl ...

Re: Redskins @ Cowboys - 1 year later

Stick a fork in the Skins, they're done, and they deserve to be done! They stink! Every team is beating up on the Crackboys, but the Skins gotta go out there and make them look like SB champions. As usual, the Skins don't fail to embarrass their fans...what a disgrace...and as usual, they absolutely ...

Re: Redskins@Saints 11/19/2017

Well, it is as expected. Cousins gets credit for another loss. Let's see, of the 6 losses he has thrown interceptions that lost 3 of them and now an intentional grounding that would have been uncatchable anyway. Unfortunately, the Redskins will probably be stupid enough to sign him to a long term ...

Re: Cowboys @ Redskins

There is a forum where political discussions are appropriate. This is NOT it. By definition, a protest is political, and demonstrating resolve against a protest is political, so no matter how you view it... take it to the lounge.
I agree about this being the wrong forum here at THN, but not about ...

Re: Cowboys @ Redskins

I don't have a problem with players protesting. I have a problem with them using the NFL as a platform for their protests. When they are wearing their uniform and standing on a football field, they are representing the NFL. They are paid to play, therefore they are an employee of the NFL. If I ...

Re: Cowboys @ Redskins

I'm about ready to give up on NFL football. My team hasn't won a Super Bowl in 25 years, and it doesn't look like they're going to win another anytime in the near future. I'm sick of the same teams being good every year. The matchups just aren't there anymore which makes for a lot of boring games. I ...

Re: Redskins at the Eagles on MNF

I've been a Cousins supporter but last night gave me doubts, he can't make the play that needs to be made. He don't have tha killer instinct. I'm wondering about Sweranger too, he was making judgment mistakes allowing two touchdowns. Where was the LB spy to watch Wentz, I thought it was obvious we ...

Re: Redskins at the Eagles on MNF

It's pretty tough for Cousins to do anything when his offensive line is constantly being pushed back into him before he has time to throw the ball. Also, the defense was on the cusp of making a lot of drive stopping plays last night, but they just kept letting it slip away. And they were keeping ...
