It always amazes me how much some people ignore the entire rest of the team other than QB when it comes to wins and losses.

This would be great news if there was anyone good to step in and call plays. That seems doubtful.

But Zorn is clearly poor at calling plays, so I'm for some change.

I agree that there needs to be some rebuilding and that O-Line should be the biggest focus at first.

I think you are being rather optimistic regarding the predictions though.

What a ridiculous comment. The guy hasn't played since 2007, and after 30 minutes, you have proof. I expected such nonsense.

Collins looked rusty, and Heyer looked as if he was sleeping. At least Collins was able to make a play downfield when he was given time.

Wait! I thought that Collins flew ...

Yes, but that's not a big as a factor as awful offensive coaching imo. An aging past his prime RB doesn't help either, and it's not like the receivers are anything to write home about.

Are you kidding???

1) With solid oline play, even the most simplistic offense can look good (i.e. Gibbs offense ...

Well at least it looks like we'll get a very high pick. I'd prefer to trade down to accumulate multiple picks, this team just needs an infusion of young talent. One player, even if it's a good rookie QB, will not make a big enough difference if the other issues aren't addressed. In fact that QB will ...

He had one good pass, otherwise he did nothing.

Exactly one more good pass than Jason had in his performance.

You're right. There are far more pressing issues to address overall with this team, and those ought to be addressed in the offseason, or sooner, if need be (coach, GM, personnel, etc ...

I feel for Zorn and his family...gotta be tough for him right now
To all you football coaches out there, what would you like to see Zorn do with this team? Is he doing the best he can with what he has been given to work with?

On a side note...I love the defense.

Also I will never give up on the ...

Looks like there are more "neggies" jumping ship this week.

Believe it or not, I saw some promise in the Collins-led team.

Consider the following:

1) Zorn took five weeks too long to pull Lionel Richie from under center.

2) The QB was already playing behind a makeshift Oline to begin with ...

Who are we trading for 1st round picks? Not sure we have many guys that would bring back a first rounder.

Free agency will be limited this offseason with an extra 2 years of service time required to be an unrestricted FA... under those circumstances it could make as much sense to trade a first ...

If it's a non cap year, why not trade our whole team for draft picks? Might end up with half a dozen first round picks and a bag of dry roasted peanuts at least. Then draft a QB, two o-linemen and a linebacker.

Yep, I'm joking. But only half joking. If next year really is a non cap year, I think ...

I agree except they should cut Portis to get his contract off the books in a non cap year.

If you have a chance for a "CAN'T MISS" lineman, you've got to take him. Could you imagine if we could get a 2nd coming of Chris Samuels and put him at RT? Man that would be nice.

I don't have an issue with Portis' personality, however he is close to being washed up. We need a new top 2 RB's next year instead of Portis and Betts. Draft someone and sign someone.

Depending on where we pick, I'd look to trade down to acquire more picks, would also see if any vets can be traded for picks. This teams biggest problem along with poor coaching is depth and a lack of good young talent.

If they can get 4 picks in the first two rounds, that would be good. I would ...

Zorn is awful, his play-calling is terrible and he makes dumb decisions like accept a penalty when the alternative was 4th down and a 50 yard field goal. Just atrocious.

It's amazing that Campbell can be blamed for marching the team up and down the field, and then failing to get in the end zone, when the problems to anyone with half a brain were Zorn's play calling, guys dropping TD passes, and the running game not coming through down there.

How many plays did JC ...

JC made a horrible play on the fumble by not stepping up into the pocket. He also made a boneheaded play by throwing the pick after crossing the line of scrimmage, however, after the ball was thrown, the pick was really on Moss, and it was a great play by Webster.

So two really bad plays no doubt ...

Letting Dilfer go wasn't that terrible of a move by the Ravens. And I agree that he would be a great backup for the Skins. I wouldn't mind Griese or Blake either. I don't see Gibbs picking Winslow that high nor would I want him to. Go with Udeze or Taylor. Someone said to trade down with the Pats for their picks, that wouldn't be a bad idea either even though I doubt Udeze would be available.
