TJ is on Redskins.comTV. He said he will wear whatever number they give him. He's not even thinking about that. He just wants to pull up a chair with the other backs and get to work learning the offense. Very respectful towards Gibbs, the organization and the players. He seems humble.

I like the trade at this point. Gibbs says he expects all four backs to make the final 53. Key word is expects.

The NFL won't allow anyone other than QB's, K's & P's to wear #'s below 20 during the season. Ask Reggie Bush.

I think some old guy with a beard has that number already.

I agree. I think he was getting used to all the praise he's been getting and he got a little reality check. He's always been a team guy and a hard worker.

The perfect ending to that would be if Mr Horse Collar himself was in their way.

Re: Cartwright Moody About Acquiring Duckett

Portis said,"Having a bigger back come in for myself, Ladell and Rock means more competition for all of us. We are going to have to step our level of play up, and it is going to be the toughest guy on the field."[/i]

Portis has the right attitude. Rock doesn't. Instead of being moody, he ...

Next years mid round draft picks are not going to help us this year.

What if Portis' shoulder doesn't hold up and Betts gets injured in week 1?
( With Betts' injury history, he might pull his hamstring putting his cleats on).

Even if we carry 4 backs plus 2 FBs, we would have Rock and Nemo ...

Don't forget there was a 12 plus minute drive in the 3rd qtr. that probably messed up everyones playing time. Jesse was the one that got the short end of the stick because he went last.

Robinson is going to the Pro Bowl as a return man. It wouldn't hurt to give him a shot. It won't take 'Santana money' to sign him. He sounded like he would fit in. He complimented ey, Moss, Portis and Brunell. If he wants to play here, why not give him a chance? Springs likes him.

With the type of Offense Gibbs runs, we need help on the OL. Our key to victory is dominating the line of scrimmage. This site is called THE HOGS.net for a reason.

On defense- #98 is starting to become a serious playmaker. What an awesome game- changing INT. A strong case could be made
for 21,95,96,97,93,24 as well. I just think #53 is our most consistent player since his arrival. Marcus just makes plays and always
keeps everybody fired up.

Re: ESPN Radio in NY

Sorry, but that is just an excuse! It means abolutely nothing. You can tell a defense what you are doing just by how you line up and then if you do not execute it does not work. As far as defending a running play, Tiki gets no yards if you put him on the ground - this is very simple. Tackle the guy ...
