Gibbs already has decided that he has no use for Dan Snyderbrenner's version of Wayland Smithers.

Speculation is fun, but I think a lot of us here are most excited about sittin' back and watching Joe do his thing. I also agree; as much as I want to see some players stay with us, I'm confident Joe will put together a good team.

Gibbs is working...

m

Through hours upon hours of game film study, Gibbs believes he has a good handle on the Redskins’ current roster thus far. He says he has identified a core group of players who he feels can be team leaders—similar to the way Art Monk, Gary Clark, Darrell Green and Joe Jacoby were leaders ...

I agree, guest.

Washington then might sign a solid corner, such as the San Francisco 49ers' Ahmed Plummer, to play alongside Smoot.
The free agent crop at cornerback is strong. The Oakland Raiders' Charles Woodson, Baltimore Ravens' Chris McAlister, Buffalo Bills' Antoine Winfield, Seattle ...

I totally agree. Chris has the talent, and I hope he and Buges show us next year.

I think it has been mentioned more than a few times that KC's offense is good. And I know that it is more exciting to see a 41-38 game over a 6-3 game. Special teams are good too. One of the earlier posts hit it on the nose...

No, no, no. I like Ramsey, but he's not Brett Favre.

There are similarities, but Ramsey is far from being Brett Favre. Ramsey can't make the same plays with his feet that an old Favre, let alone a young Favre, can make.

Also, I'm not sure that Ramsey has the same leadership qualities.

Of ...

IF and notice that was a big if, a highschool player makes it, i think it will be a kicker/punter that dosen't have to be beaten down by the physical part of the game.

I couldn't agree more. and look at Freddy Adu (14 year-old soccer phenom), already contracted to play with D.C. United. Amazing ...

I hate the fact that I'm still discussing this topic.

I don't know...I'm somewhat uneducated about these contracts. Do you think Brunell would try to secure a starting job in his contract? If so, this whole thing should be put to rest because it ain't gonna happen. I guess I just don't ...

Jacksonville is trying to up the ante because they saw a huge rush in interest for this guy once news got out about the Gibbs/Brunell meeting. Now that 4 or 5 teams want him, Jax can raise his price tag.

I'm getting a feeling that the 4 or 5 teams interested in him are starting to look elsewhere ...

Ramsey v. Brunell...SORRY!!!!

Sorry to bring up this overhyped story one more time but I have a question about this situation. (apoligies if I missed it in an earlier thread)

Let's just say that the Skins do take Brunell, and P-Ram and him duke it out for the starting position. If Ramsey shows Joe that he should start, and ...

P-Ram in Miami?

The Dolphins have offered their first-round draft pick (No. 20 overall) for Redskins quarterback Patrick Ramsey, according to the Washington Post.
