I'm still of the mindset that the 'Skins (presuming they really are pursuing this trade) just hold the line with the #5.

A playmaker like Portis, with Brunell or Ramsey is a pure God-send. If you can get two playmakers in the defensive backfield -- like Arrington and S. Taylor (who is in a better ...

Between the two, I'd rather cut Trotter.

Armstead was the most solid LB last year. Trotter and Arrington were constantly out of place. Trotter has proven to be a bit of a flop and obviously doesn't handle having to adapt to a new defensive philosophy very well.

It all comes down to Gregg ...

Implied is that the Redskins intend to Franchise Tag him after February 24. So, if other teams want Bailey, they'll have to trade for him. They've even got Bailey & his representation doing the footwork for them.

I was getting hammered for this in another thread, but I want to just say that if we're really unable to trade the #5 for anything desirable that I hope the 'Skins go for Sean Taylor, S, Miami.

He's coming out as a junior and he's probably the most gifted defender on the board so far. There ...

OH...hurts that no one likes my pick. I would agree, though, that trading down is a completely viable option and one that I would be excited about.

The thing is, one of Snyder's early lessons was Cap-ology...and they've been handling cap-room really well since then, massaging contracts and ...

I think he'll bring back the Bandwagon in a year or two. He busted it out for a season that started 11-0. So, there's going to need to be something special happening in order for him to bring it out of the garage.

I am in total agreement about McCants. This is the guy we'd see Ramsey heave it up to when he was in deep s***. He always seems to be in traffic and never seemed to do too much flinching.

The other thing I like about Darnerian is that he can do the opposite in this offense that Warren & Didier ...

I would actually like to see the Redskins draft the safety from Miami, Sean Taylor. His learning curve could be realized in short order and if you pay attention to the really successful defenses in the NFL - especially in our own division - the safety position is becoming VITAL. Think how nice it ...

I do wonder if Gibbs might be a little disappointed by the fact that FedEx isn't AS intimate as RFK was. Even if you were in the nosebleeds, you were basically on top of the other team - and that was such an advantage. FedEx, as beautiful as it is, is more an architectural delight than it is a ...
