Yeah I know, thanks - didn't think it was necessary to go into it being whatever percentage of the league's DGR (I believe it's 58% in 2009)... because I didn't think it really had anything to do with the poster's comment that somehow Dan Snyder was personally footing the bill.

There is no math. Dan Snyder doesn't pay salaries - the league's TV contract does - every last one of the salaries - not a drop really comes out of Snyder's pocket, or any owner's pocket - not a drop.

All $127 M of this year's cap comes from the Redskins' 'portion' of the NFL revenue contract ...

How can you possibly pick the staff without knowing who the head honcho will be?

We can't just sign the OC we want and the DC we want and then add a head coach... the coach has to come first. Whomever is hired is proably going to want to bring some people with him, so i don't see how hiring ...
