"It's cool," said tackle Kenyatta Jones, who was sporting the Portis version.

Sounds like the linemen appreciated the gesture. Anyway Gumby, a dinner at the steakhouse is gone the next day, a T-shirt can last a lifetime. The way I see it is this, if my son goes out and buys me a gift for my ...

The Haters Cannt Handle The Truth

By Jason Whitlock
Special to Page 2

I must've missed the memo -- the memo that went out to the red-blooded American sports public and explains exactly when it became OK to throw patriotism out the window and openly root against a U.S. Olympic team.

Yeah, I didn't get that memo. I'm ...

ummm.... one of the biggest reasons for the cohesion that the HOGS came to have was some 'stupid t-shirts' that Joe Bugel made up with a hog on them.

They became a badge of courage... a badge of honor.

Regardless of price.

They swilled beer and ate beans in the 5 o'clock club... not wine and ...

Look, it's not like he went out to Dick's Sporting Goods and picked up some T-shirts to give to the O-linemen. That would be pretty "cheap" (a term denoting "inexpensive" but also conotating "worthless" or "poor quality"). But, he had them made, and I think they are kinda neat. Again, not on par ...

Note -- Portis presented the Redskins' offensive linemen with "Official Dirtbags" T-shirts that feature a lineman knee-deep in muck with flies buzzing around and the slogan, "They're stinkin' huge." The shirt also features a replica Portis signature.
