How many yards per pass will Brunell average next week?

Common guys, give us your best guess. Personally, I'm an optimist. I think he'll have a rebound game and will average at least 6 yards per pass. :)

I actually would vote for the one where we tried to hold but were too incompetent to do even that!

Usually I don't think 13-15 when I think of Brunell's record as a starter for the Redskins. I generally think of 10-6 + a playoff win.

Yeah, I'm sure everyone will agree that Brunell, not Portis and the Defense was the reason the Skins made it to 10 wins. He was rock solid all season long ...

[* I have little reason to think that Brunell has nothing left in the tank. That's a very broad generalization about a man who's proven the same accusation wrong in the past.

You wouldn't happen to know Brunell's record as a starter for the Redskins, would you? 'Cause if it was say, 13-15 or ...

The Redskins D - 2 sacks in two games....

Way to go D!!!!

Rockin!!! Considering Bledsoe and Johnson are the two most mobile QBs in the league and sit behind the best offensive lines in the league, we're obviously MONEY on pass rushing.

Sure, perhaps we could "raise eyebrows" with, say, a touchdown once every few games.

That would be just peachy !! I love having a star -studded offense with a million-dollar Offensive coach on the payroll and getting the offensive production we've seen in the past two games.

Hey, it could be ...

"We" won't know how Campbell will perform until he plays. . .but the coaches aren't included in that "we." They've got a much better understanding of what is going on.

If Campbell doesn't play for 3-4 years even (which we'd probably both agree won't happen), but still comes around with a solid 10 ...

More bright spots than last week? How many points did our O score this week? How many last week?
It's obvious I'm not referring to the points scored or points given up as "bright spots", CT. If you didn't see them, iit might be YOU the one who's wearing the blinders, as you are not seeing the ...

Yes, the o-line looked bad tonight, and it's worse that it happened against Dallas.

As long as the team learns from its mistakes over the past two games, we will see a much improved unit the rest of the way, and we will raise some eyebrows, for sure.

So if I paraphrase your post, you're ...

Too much wallowing and "woe is us" statements on the board. It's not so muh in defense of Mark alone, but for the team in general.

We lost. Bad. We got our butts handed to us.

Howeveer, confidence still remains in the pedigree of the players, coaches and staff on this team. THis team is being ...

Right now I'm reading too much loser speak on this board. It's 2 games, and there are 14 remaining. I'll say it. Mark STILL gives us the best chance to win.

Any chance we could get some reasoning for that statement? Is it perhaps his wonderful accuracy? His great decision making and poise ...

Did Brunell even attempt a pass longer than 15 yards, other than in garbage time? Is this some kind of negative record?

I dunno, but at some point this week, they need to introduce Brunell to the Wide Receivers. He really needs to know who these guys are, considering they have the same color ...

I am must be really missing something here, so I just want to know, explain how does Brunell give us the best chance to win now, is it his arm strength, decision making, accuracy, leadership, what is it. look, don't blame the oline for our performance tonight. the cowgirls' secondary caused brunell to hold the ball too long. an OL has a well defined number of seconds to pass block his man. its the qb who as to get the ball out.

check it, this offense is NEW. despite all the big name players and ...

Bro, Brunell can run just as well as Campbell, but what's the point?

I couldn't disagree with you more on that. 5 years ago? Sure, maybe. Not now. Brunell isn't that mobile. And Campbell showed in preseason that he could break more than a 2 yard run. This makes the defense play a little bit ...

Yes.

Six sacks, far more hurries, no holes for the running backs, etc. They truly suck.

How does thsi contradict what I said?

I suppose it doesn't, it just backs up what I said. When did we look worse?

Yeah okay, let's just throw a rookie QB in there where he'll get no protection and lose all of his confidence.

Sure, Brunell did TERRIBLE tonight, but how do you think a ROOKIE would have done.

Chris Samules and Jon Jansen got out right dominated and your suggesting we should throw in a rookie ...
