He hasnt got many chances i dont think and when they try a shot down feild to him jc misses by so much he doesnt even get a shot, id say hes maybe had one pass of over 15 yards to him that he could have atleast had a shot at.

There is no pile when he does it, its when hes on the outside and its 1 on 1 blocking is what im talking about. Why would i be talking about in a pile, every rb in the nfl hits there blockers when trying to drive the pile.

Okay well watch this weekend for him running into blockers backs.Im gonna guess youll see it on a pulling linemen or two on an outside run after picking up 4 or 5 yards and decide if you think he could have got more yards on the play.

o i dont know if its a bad thing i guess it means hes folowing his blocks, but it does seem to stop him cold alot when it looks like there would have been alot more yards avaliable.

Correct me if im wrong but i have noticed portis runs into the back of his blockers easily more than anyone in the league. Im not saying its a bad thing but almost every run play to the outside he seems to find away to slam into the back of his blockers.

we were the last team in the NFL to report to training camp that may have something to do witht this.

he has 4 full weeks tille the season opener he will easily be ready by then. Maybe they are overplaying it to phsyce the Vikings out.

its funny you posted that after Joe's news conference. But he said Portis went to some specialist and its gonna be sore and when the soreness goes away he will rehab and probably be ready for the opener.
