Good point. Perhaps I should attend EVERY Giants/Redskins game at the stadium and sing "Hail to the Redskins" repeatedly... even if the Skins are losing.
In that case, I hope they got the kitchen sink thrown at them from a second-story window. They need it!
Another bad thing about the Redskins losing is that you never hear Gibbs talking about being "blessed by the Lord" in the locker room talks with the press. What could he say? "Sorry guys ...
Actually, I've been to the Vet before they moved out. Maybe they took it easy on me because I was a kid then. Ironically, that was Dexter Manley's last game as a Redskin. I think he was banned from the NFL the next day.
It's tough to be mad at Gibbs. But he can be frustrating because he never gets mad about things and is a little too optimistic. I watched today's press conference on Redskins.com. If that is the docile attitude he is showing his players, he's not lighting a fire under their you-know-whats.
With all due respect to a great team and their
tremendous late owner, I wish to state that I have
NEVER attended a football game with such obnoxious,
arrogant, moronic imbeciles as are the vast majority
of Giants fans.
I am a Redskins fan who attended Sunday's game.
Having seen what ...
I went to the game. I didn't even have a good time -- except for the tailgating. I have never been embarrassed to be a Skins fan. Yesterday I was. Worst game I've seen in 22 years of watching.
