RIC - No arguements there! Up until now he has been very good on run support. Tonight he was not good. The Carlos watch may be on.

My hat is off to our DL!

They are hurt, banged up, patched up, and they played great!

Not much of a pass rush but still...

I agree. I think some kudos do need to thrown the D line's way for playing with a big effort even though they are dinged up.

Their Fan2Fan site admin already came to post in the smack forum to congratulate us (no trolling). I know you are going to be fair to him.

Gane Ball

Post by pete4221977 »

Game ball should go to Mark Brunell and Derrick Dockery. Dockery's hustle after Cooley's fumble might have saved the game.

How does that Eagles fight song go again? "Die Eagles Die?"

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!

Things are bad for Philly but there is still hope. There is one man that can save their season, and save their pride. One reciever who can put the team on his back and carry them straight to the super bowl...Hes a warrior, a fighter.....a CHAMPION...and Not Just a champion..Oh know...but..

Didn't get to follow the game live last night (bit too late on this side of the Atlantic!), but rushed to check out the score as soon as I could lumber out of bed. 17-10 sounds like a classic NFC East kind of scoreline, and it's great to be on the right end of a close one against the Eagles!

Was the ending as tense as it seems?

Don't pay any attention Chris' during the game talk. He just gets a little worked up, right Chris?? ;-)

I say a lot of mean things during the game. Im naturally not a very optimistic person and tend to dwell on the negative.

However I still feel Dockery is the weak link on the line and needs to step his game up. This isn't about feelings and emotions its about that trophy. He's had ample time to improve. I am very thankful he had the awareness to follow the play and get the ball. I guess that shows that he is trying. My mouth will be shut in regards to him for a while.

It's cool - I didn't have a chance to follow the thread during the game so I went back and was reading it... You should all thank Niki for keeping y'all in check! There were a few others who kept the faith too... I'm just psyched we won!! If we take Tampa this week, we'll be in great shape.

Its like CLL and I are in each other's heads. I'm always guardedly optimistic about our team. I always root for them and always expect our players to make the play regardless of circustances. Which is why it upsets me when we make boneheaded mistakes. I'm of the same mind with Dockery. I think he is a weak link. And believe it or not I think the second weakest link on the OL is Samuels. Followed by Randy Thomas. Rabach and Jansen are our two best OL ... IMHO.

LOL, I agree with the order. Dont tell Jake though. Its not that Samuels is bad, he's just so inconsistent at times and the money he's making doesn't help.
